After an hour of resting, Robin and Frankenstein already recover somehow. They both walk to Xin to see what's the next step in learning NEN.
Not far away from them, Xin leisure sitting at a table while reading a book.
At the top of the table is glass filled with water and there is a leaf floating in the middle of it.
Seeing that the two of them walked closer, Xin closed his book and smile at them.
He said," Good, the two of you recover fast enough. Let's start the next step"
Robin and Frankenstein nod and then sit in the chair that Xin left for them.
Xin said," We are going to conduct a Water Divination to see what kind of NEN you have."
"The most popular way of determining one's aura type is through Water Divination requires one to float a leaf atop a glass of water. A student of Nen will place their hands around the glass and perform Ren (or focus a greater than normal amount of aura in their hands, such as through Gyo). The resulting effect from one's aura contacting the glass will determine a person's aura type."
"There are 6 types of NEN
If the volume of the water changes, then the user is an Enhancer.
If the taste of the water changes, then the user is a Transmuter.
If impurities appear in the water, then the user is a Conjurer.
If the color of the water changes, then the user is an Emitter
If the leaf moves on the water's surface, then the user is a Manipulator
If a completely different change appears, then the user is a Specialist."
Robin suddenly ask," Is there a best NEN"
Xin smiled and said," If you ask me about best NEN category, I think the best one is the Specialist NEN"
"This type of NEN aura can only use one type of NEN, it's not that strong but if you successfully awake your individual ability, you can become powerful in the future"
Robin confuse ask," Like?"
Xin opens his hand and activates his NEN in his palm, there is a Violet colored marble with a number 10X in the middle of it.
He said," This is my personalize NEN ability, I call it "6 Colored Marble"
"It has the ability to change my aura to all types while enhancing it to its max capability, for my case I can enhance all aura to 10X like what's written on the marble"
"Only specialist NEN user can have such a unique ability"
Robin and Frankenstein's learn another new thing from Xin.
Xin then remove his ability and focus into the two glass in front of them, he said," Let's lest the type of NEN you both have"
"To test what kind of aura you have, you just need to focus your aura into your hand and transmit it into the water inside the glass"
Robin carefully places her hand on the side of the glass and operates her aura.
The liquid-like aura gathered in Robin's hands, a few minutes later the water suddenly changes to dark color.
Xin suddenly said," You can stop now Robin"
Robin nod and then she stop transmitting aura, she feels relieved that the process is done because she feels tired again.
Xin carefully stared at the glass filled with dark water, he took out a pen and poke it to see what will happen.
He was amazed that the water change into an ink,Xin said," Congratulations Robin, you are Specialist type"
Robin nod and ask," Then how can i get my ability?"
Xin thought," That … I don't know, maybe tonight or tomorrow it depends on your luck because my ability come out after I activate my NEN"
Robin nod, she now hoping that she gets something useful ability like the magic pen that Xin give to her or a magic parchment.
Xin now face Frankenstein whos bowing al the time while hiding her eyes in her long bangs.
He asked,"Can you fix your bangs so that we can easily see your face?"
Frankenstein nervous said," Umm if that's Master order … I will comply"
Seeing that she is too nervous and shy in front of him, Xin just let he do whatever she wants," Well never mind"
"Let's start the test,just like Robin you just need to place your hands beside the glass and start gathering aura and transmit it into the water"
Frankenstein shyly nod, then she place her hand beside the glass and start transmitting aura into it.
Suddenly the water overflow from the glass, Frankenstine hurry remove her hand.
Xin chuck and said," You're an Enhancer,"
"Enhancers are able to greatly increase their physical attack and defense and are best suited for melee combat"
"I think this ability is best for you who are good in melee"
Frankenstein shy bow his head," Thank you for guidance master"
Xin smile at her," Then let's proceed to the last step"
"And that is to know how to train your own NEN"
"I will first teach you the Four Major Principles of NEN after you mastered the Four Major Principles I will guide you to the advance Techniques"
"While mastering all the things that you need to learn, I will help you enhance your individual NEN"
"Well overall mastering NEN is a hard and long way, so please persevere until the end"
Robin and Frankenstein nod their heads, they know that mastering special techniques is hard and there's no shortcut in becoming strong.
Xin then explained all the techniques that they need to learn to master NEN.
After that he let them practice on their own while supervising them from afar.
