After finishing his drink, Jian Chenxi escorted Lu Niange by the hand to the other tables. As she passed by Lu Niange, her stride was steady. However, just as she was about to take the final step past him, Lu Niange suddenly snuffed out the cigarette in his hand and straightened up. His voice was a bit hoarse as he said, "Momo, have you been well recently?"
Ling Momo did not speak, nor did she pause her step. The clear, rhythmic sound of her high heels resonated, each tap striking at Lu Niange’s heart, bringing waves of piercing pain.
