A flicker of disappointment appeared in Shen Lanze’s eyes, but he still managed a forced smile and said, "No worries, I can invite you to dinner another day just as well."
Upon hearing this, Li Qingshen frowned slightly and abruptly turned and walked away.

The two often ate meals together, and Ling Momo was used to this; however, she felt somewhat tired now, which made her lose her appetite, lightly pushing around the food in her plate as Li Qingshen finished his meal. Then she rapidly put down her chopsticks.
Noticing the almost untouched food in Ling Momo’s bowl, Li Qingshen frowned and concern flashed in his eyes as he asked, "Why are you eating so little?"
"I’m just not hungry," Ling Momo shook her head.
"You should eat something for dinner, no matter how little; skipping meals isn’t good for your stomach or your health," Li Qingshen said, while he picked up some food and placed it on the small plate in front of Ling Momo.
Ling Momo wore a troubled expression.
"Does the food not suit your taste?" Li Qingshen stared at Ling Momo’s expression, thought for a moment, and then said without hesitation, "Tell me what you want to eat, and I’ll have someone prepare it."
It’s quite normal for a person to occasionally not feel like eating; Ling Momo didn’t think it was a big deal and was surprised by Li Qingshen’s exaggeration.
