If I had gone to find Imilo with a sword in hand, maybe things would have been okay. At most he would have thought I’d gone mad, beaten me up, and then investigated the reason.

Just as Wu Heng had sat down at his desk, the door was knocked on.
The door opened, and a woman clad in a gray cloak with her head bowed entered.
She came in quickly and then took off her hood.
Millicent, Philippa’s mother.
“Deputy Steward!” Millicent bowed respectfully.
One could see that Millicent was in good spirits.
Her mental state had also improved significantly since before.
“What’s the matter?” asked Wu Heng.

If someone tailed her or if she were recognized by anybody,

The lady informed him, “Today, a dwarf guest checked out. While we were cleaning his room, we found these.” Millicent took out several items from her side bag.
A black wig, some torn cloth strips, and various wooden sticks that looked like parts of something.
The dwarves were of small stature and didn’t match the three people who had imitated him at all.
But clearly, this was related to the matter.
“You said he checked out? Where did he go?” Wu Heng asked directly.
Millicent replied, “He headed towards the port, it seems he plans to leave the island.”
Wu Heng nodded and began to put on his Leather Armor as he spoke, “Do you know which ship?”
“Hmm, you did well on this matter. Go back for now, and I’ll find you after I’ve dealt with this issue,” Wu Heng told her directly.
Millicent put on her hood and left. Wu Heng, after getting ready, also left with ‘Skull Crusher’ in hand.
Taking the Association’s carriage, he headed towards the port.
On the way, Xi Ligui and her team were still inquiring at the taverns.
The carriage stopped, and Wu Heng poked his head out, “Xi Ligui, we have a lead.”
Xi Ligui looked up and frowned, “What lead?”
Xi Ligui opened the door and got in.
Wu Heng shared the intelligence he had received with her.
He didn’t mention Millicent; he only said that the intel pointed to a dwarf and a black wig.
Xi Ligui nodded, pulled aside the curtain, and said to her team outside, “Let’s go, to the port.”
The carriage began to move again, heading towards the port.
They finally arrived at the port.
The group headed to the area where the ship’s management was located.
Seeing how formidable the Association people looked, the ship’s manager grew nervous.
“Gentlemen, what can I do for you?” he asked.
Xi Ligui said, “Did any ships leave the dock today? What times?”
“Several ships left the dock this morning.”
“And what about the ships that are about to leave, which ones are they?”
The ship’s manager immediately flipped through the logbook and said, “Dock 5, 7, 9; in the afternoon, it’s dock 11…”
After listening to all the details,
Wu Heng’s mind raced, and Glenda and Xiao Xiao flew out of his body, invisible, and headed towards the corresponding dock numbers.
Xi Ligui also ordered, “One team per ship, look for a dwarf, in a blue-gray robe, wearing a hood.”

The dwarf sat on the wooden bed, legs propped up, waiting for the ship to sail.

Inside a single room in the cabin,
The dwarf was sitting on the wooden bed, arms resting on his knees, quietly waiting.

Two exaggerated Big-head Puppets charged directly at them.
Suddenly, the puppets opened their mouths wide, one spewing black grease, the other shooting out flames.
Instantly, an explosion sounded.
Inside the cabin, flames erupted.
The team, trying to avoid the blaze, scattered in all directions.
The dwarf’s fingers moved again, and another canine puppet emerged from the Space Ring.
Riding on its back, he ducked his head and charged out.
“You imbeciles, go catch ‘Ewald’ if you can; don’t waste your efforts on me,” yelled the dwarf.
The dwarf roared as he rode the puppet’s back, quickly dashing away.
Meanwhile, the fire continued to spread within the cabin.
Wu Heng watched the retreating figure, immediately drew his rifle, and pulled the trigger.
Bullets whistled out, striking the target with precision.
Blood sprayed, and the dwarf fell off the puppet, struggling to stand back up, his fingers still attempting to manipulate the controls.
