Chapter 439: Chapter 361, Ordinary Evolutionary Zombies (Third update.)
It looked more like a dried corpse without any fat.
These zombies were scattered sporadically among the crowd of corpses.
They didn’t wander aimlessly like the other zombies but instead turned their heads to search for targets and pushed away any zombies that got too close.
They seemed to possess some level of intelligence.
New type of zombie? Or an evolved form of the ordinary ones?
Qi Hancai noticed his expression and asked, “What’s wrong?”
“Is there any update on the zombies from the radio station?”
“Yes,” Qi Hancai recalled, then said, “Several types of zombies were updated. There’s one called Spatter Zombie, which sprays out a thick liquid, and another called Plague Ghost, which emits a dust virus. There’s also a Third-level zombie known as the Thousand-Foot Monster that’s said to be composed of many limbs.”
“What about ordinary zombies?”
“The main station said that in some places, ordinary zombies have started to develop a certain level of intelligence, but they haven’t released more information than that.”
Wu Heng nodded. It seemed very likely that the zombies mixed in there were the evolved type mentioned by the radio station.
If all zombies evolved to have intelligence,
it would be an even greater disaster for the survivors.
“You stay in the car, the zombies are more numerous today. Tell everyone to be careful,” Wu Heng instructed.
“Oh, okay!” Qi Hancai nodded and picked up the walkie-talkie to issue an extra warning.

After preparing the Skeleton Army in formation,
Wu Heng gently patted two Mutated Dogs and said, “Go lure those zombies over here.”
The two Mutated Dogs wagged their bony tails incessantly.
Upon hearing Wu Heng’s command, they bolted straight out.
At a distance of a hundred meters from the zombies, the nearby undead all turned their heads to look.
They were stunned at first, then let out deafening roars.
Almost simultaneously, nearby zombies also roared in response, wave after wave, layer by layer, spreading outwards.
The Skeleton Hounds turned tail and ran, while the horde of corpses quickly gave chase.
The teeming mass squeezed into the middle of the road, jostling and pushing against each other, like a surging black tide, desperately chasing after the fleeing Skeleton Hounds.
The ground began to tremble, and the roar of the zombies was thunderous.
The Skeleton Hounds that had their tails held high now tucked them and ran with their heads down at full speed.
The zombie tide surged forth.

The number far exceeded their initial estimate.

It simply couldn’t hold back so many zombies.
The numbers were too great.
Could these Skeletons hold them off?

He turned to the Big Head Skull behind him and said, “Skeleton Flying Dragons, take to the air, release the Iron Bombs.”
Five Skeleton Flying Dragons instantly shot into the sky.
Reaching the area above the zombie horde quickly, their bomb bays opened, and the dense Iron Bombs fell like black raindrops.
In an instant, explosions rang out, and thick smoke billowed into the sky.
The Iron Bombs dropped by the five Skeleton Flying Dragons instantly cleared the entire road.
Limb remnants and rotting flesh littered the ground, with blood flowing everywhere.
More of the zombie horde, stepping through the mangled flesh and blood, continued to charge forward.
They filled the entire road once again.
They roared as they charged.
Behind, Wang Chenggang and others constantly scanned the distance while reloading their magazines.
They wished they had more hands to stuff the magazines in faster.
The two scouting Ghosts, having returned, spoke softly in their invisible state, “There are more zombies coming from the right, a large number.”
“Uncle, there are also zombies rushing over from the left,” said another.
Wu Heng’s eyes narrowed instantly as he quickly surveyed both sides.
Tall buildings obstructed the view, but the sound of running footsteps could still faintly be heard.
“There must be a Big Head zombie,” he concluded.
