The Paranoid Elf Queen Turned Me Into Her Sister Chapter 51

Chapter 51 – My Titanium Dog Eyes!

This bitch is just as pretentious and theatrical as ever. Is she here for a match or a fashion show?

Watching the golden-haired girl across the arena, Irene wore a mocking smile on her lips.

Still trying to play up your “persona” in front of the whole crowd? Doesn’t matter. In a moment, I’ll tear off your mask and make you kneel at my feet, licking the heel of my shoe while begging for mercy!

“As classmates, I really didn’t want to sour things between us.”

In the noisy arena, Irene muttered mockingly, loud enough for only the two of them to hear.

“I’m a generous person. If you get on your knees now and apologize to me and my family in front of everyone, maybe I’ll consider forgiving you. Otherwise...”

Irene flicked her whip, licking her lips with a look of raw aggression as she stared at Teresa.

“In a bit, you might have to suffer a little. This whip? It stings quite a bit when it hits, y’know.”

Teresa, however, paid no mind to Irene’s trash talk. She calmly tuned her flintlock, completely ignoring her opponent.

"...Ungrateful brat."

Irene’s expression darkened briefly, but she quickly composed herself again. Watching Teresa polish her barrel, she smirked derisively.

“Still relying on that flintlock, huh? If this is what it takes for you to show up as a Divine Princess, then you might as well not bother. It’s just embarrassing.”

Of course Irene knew Teresa hadn’t Awakened, nor did she possess a Divine Authority. Frand had provided her with all the information beforehand.

No Domain, no Authority—it was clear. Not only was Teresa a Wild one, but her inherited bloodline was appallingly low-grade.

Irene’s eyes glinted with disdain.

“Is that... a flintlock Teresa’s holding?”

“Looks like it. What, is she gonna start swinging it like a club?”

“Am I the one misunderstanding what a Divine Princess is? Since when do they use flintlocks?”

A Divine Princess wielding a flintlock—utterly ridiculous.

Most knight-class or ranger-class Divine Princesses used melee weapons to augment their Divine Authority and Domain. But no one had ever seen one use a firearm.

Forget everything else—wasn’t Divine Authority stronger than that cheap pipe by leagues?

And since flintlocks were the bottom tier of the hierarchy of disdain, once the audience identified the weapon, many Divine Princesses scoffed.

Even the mentors watching shook their heads in disappointment.

In their eyes, if a Divine Princess had to rely on a flintlock, either she was a complete fool or her Divine Authority was so pathetic that even firearms outperformed it.

“Sigh...”

Miss Blaise and Mr. Barros, who had administered Teresa’s Divine Princess testing not long ago, sat in the mentor’s section. Seeing her on the field now, they could only silently cheer for the unlucky girl.

Frand, meanwhile, sneered at Teresa. To avoid any surprises, he’d tried to persuade her to quit ahead of time—not to give Dylin a sliver of hope, and to leave him utterly isolated.

But now? Clearly, that was overkill. This Wild Divine Princess couldn’t even go onstage without a flintlock—otherwise, she’d have zero offense.

A perfect match for that Blind Divine Child. A pair of clueless prodigies.

Since that was the case, all he needed to do was crush her confidence. Ten days from now, Dylin and this wild girl would both vanish from Coleman.

After adjusting her flintlock, Teresa brushed a hand over the dagger at her waist, looking at her opponent—an aggressive, brown-haired Divine Princess who stood like an insurmountable wall.

But the true wall wasn’t Irene—it was something called “Divine Authority.”

She had never imagined herself stepping into an arena to compete against other Divine Princesses. Even though she’d earned the qualifications, the vast gulf before her remained daunting.

But...

Prayer was meaningless. Wishful thinking was a coward’s escape. Since she had stepped onto this arena, Teresa had no intention of conceding—let alone surrendering.

Before this unbeatable opponent, and the impossible rules stacked against her, Teresa stood tall and calm. Not even the ugly scar on her face could dim the sharpness in her eyes.

“Both contestants are ready... the match begins!”

The atmosphere in the arena grew instantly heavy, like gravity itself had intensified.

This was a tension the audience could never feel. The battlefield and the stands were worlds apart.

Every movement was scrutinized by countless eyes. One had to stay constantly vigilant of the opponent’s behavior, mentally calculating their likely attacks, planning defenses, analyzing every twitch of a brow, every shift in stance.

This was the reality of a Divine Princess’s battleground!

Compared to Irene, Teresa had an obvious disadvantage—but she did possess one advantage most Divine Princesses lacked.

The golden butterfly hairpin shimmered with blue lines as Teresa instantly activated her Divine Appraisal.

A stream of data appeared before her eyes:

Irene Cardifen

Strength: Yellow Gem

Speed: Green Gem

Agility: Green Gem

Endurance: Yellow Gem

Among all the Divine Princesses Teresa had seen, these stats were middle to low tier. But Irene clearly wasn’t a knight-class Divine Princess, so she probably didn’t need much strength.

Judging by the whip in her hand, Teresa guessed that Irene was likely a ranger-class, much like that Bryn fellow.

Then...

Teresa found herself unable to detect Irene’s Domain or Divine Authority.

It wasn’t because Irene’s concealment surpassed even Felicia’s—no, she simply hadn’t manifested her Domain or Authority yet.

And detecting unmanifested Domains and Authorities required far more mental effort.

Meaning?

Irene’s sneer said it all: She intended to defeat Teresa with overwhelming humiliation—without even using her Domain or Divine Authority.

Teresa raised her flintlock and aimed straight for Irene’s head.

Naturally, Irene wasn’t about to stand still. The moment Teresa made a move, she responded instantly.

Her figure flitted rapidly in Teresa’s vision, moving in an erratic, unpredictable pattern.

And this was just green gem-level speed—yet Teresa already struggled to keep up.

Irene’s strategy was simple: disrupt Teresa’s aim.

Given that the flintlock could only fire once before a long reload, Teresa had to land that shot.

But that was easier said than done. She couldn’t use alchemy potions, and without Divine Authority, she was trapped.

Her attack options were too limited. Worse, Irene knew all about her beforehand, while she knew nothing of Irene.

She’d already lost the information war.

Irene quickly closed the distance. A grin lifted her lips—not with her whip, but with a clenched fist, she drove a punch hard into Teresa’s gut.

The blow knocked the breath from Teresa’s lungs. She flew back with a choked sound, tumbling across the ground several times.

"Yikes, she’s completely useless."

Up in the stands, a student named John bit into an apple and curled his lip.

What kind of Divine Princess was that? So weak.

Curious, John activated Divine Appraisal on Teresa.

Name: Teresa XXXXX

"Huh? She has a last name?"

John squinted, trying to make out the full string behind her first name.

"Let’s see—Teresa Galn—AAAAAAAAHH!"

Before he could finish, a burst of golden light shot from the text. His retinas burned like fire.

“ARE MY EYES STILL THERE?!”

Rolling around the stands, John finally regained composure—only to find himself being stared at by bewildered classmates.

Awkwardly grinning, he gulped and glanced again at Teresa down on the field.

If even his level of Divine Appraisal couldn’t read her full name...Was it a malfunction, or—

Was this girl’s identity... not ordinary at all?
