C4 – Shameless
Her brother had changed. He radiated more confidence, shone brighter, and stood taller than before. Yet, his love for her remained as strong as ever.
“Yes.” Yun Haoyan gently patted Yun Tiantian’s head, comforting her, “Tiantian, don’t cry. I’ll take care of the bad guys for you.”
He recalled that today, Qiu Kuiwei had come to ask for her hand in marriage, sparking a conflict with their family.
The following night, the Qiu family would lay siege to theirs, mercilessly slaughtering over a hundred of their kin.
Only he had survived, shielded by his parents as they made the ultimate sacrifice. That’s why the memory of today’s events was etched so deeply in his mind, haunting him like a recurring nightmare.
After enduring countless trials, Yun Haoyan had ascended to the realm of Martial Grandmaster. Upon his return to investigate, he discovered that the Qiu family’s annihilation of his own was not over a dispute involving his sister Yun Tiantian. They had been mere puppets, manipulated by another.
Moreover, the Qiu family themselves were wiped out the very next night, their lineage erased without a trace. The motive behind their attack on the Yun family and any leads to the true perpetrator were lost.
He vowed to prevent such a tragedy from repeating in this lifetime.
In his past life, the killer had eluded justice. This time, Yun Haoyan was determined to exact vengeance with his own hands.
With this resolve, Yun Haoyan whirled around to face the swaggering members of the Qiu family, his gaze fierce and unyielding:

Embarrassed by his own retreat, Qiu Kuiwei’s pride was wounded. How could he, of all people, be intimidated by Yun Haoyan? Regaining his composure, he advanced three steps, declaring boldly, “Yes, it was me! What are you going to do about it?”
Before the words had fully left his mouth, Yun Haoyan vanished from sight, reappearing in an instant before Qiu Kuiwei, leaving the unmistakable imprint of five fingers across his face.
“You dare to hit me?” Qiu Kuiwei stared at Yun Haoyan in utter disbelief.
Without hesitation, Yun Haoyan lifted his hand and delivered several more slaps:
If Qiu Kuiwei had no shame, then Yun Haoyan would show no restraint in striking him.
Qiu Kuiwei was dazed; despite being a Fourth Level Martial Warrior, and Yun Haoyan merely a First Level, why couldn’t he evade Yun Haoyan’s blows?
At that moment, Qiu Kuiwei’s bodyguard finally snapped to attention and bellowed:
“Release the young master!”
One after another, the muscular men channeled Spiritual Energy into their hands and charged at Yun Haoyan. The pulsing of Spiritual Energy around them made it clear that they were formidable; the least skilled among them was a Fifth Level Martial Warrior, with the leader being a Seventh Level Martial Warrior.
The one leading the charge, a Seventh Level Martial Warrior, swung his fists and hurled them towards Yun Haoyan.
With a swift kick, Yun Haoyan sent the burly man flying. He crashed to the ground, unable to rise for quite some time.
The men following him met the same fate, each one kicked away by Yun Haoyan. The remaining few didn’t dare to advance, lingering uncertainly in their spots.
“Amazing!” Yun Tiantian’s eyes were wide with awe as she watched Yun Haoyan continue to slap Qiu Kuiwei impassively.
“Finish him! Take them all down!”
The Yun family crowd was also cheering. They had long harbored resentment towards these individuals but had been constrained by the Qiu family’s influence. Now, with Yun Haoyan taking action, their excitement was palpable.
“Enough!” A voice thundered across the field. An elder dressed in white emerged from afar, commanding the scene to a halt.
