Zheng Gong, with a sniper rifle in hand, lay prone at a window. In his line of sight, a car sped through the Ruined District. Speaking into an open phone, he said, "Li Yi, I have the murderer in my crosshairs, but the target is moving too fast for a confident kill shot."
"Good, I’m aware. I’ll intercept the suspect," Li Yi’s voice came through from the other end of the phone.
"Be careful. The suspect has reached the inspiration realm in his cultivation. I’m not worried about your ability to handle him, but about him getting away. After all, finding a murderer in the Ruined District is no easy task," Zheng Gong advised.
"Enough, find a good shooting position. If you get a chance, take the shot. I’ve already spotted the fugitive’s vehicle."
on a road in the Ruined District, Li Yi stood nonchalantly in the middle of the road while a sedan approached swiftly at 160 miles per hour directly towards him.
He looked left and right, then smashed a concrete slab by the roadside with his fist, pulling out a steel reinforcing bar which he bent straight before hurling it with all his might directly at the oncoming sedan.
The steel bar, like a javelin, flew incredibly fast and vanished from sight in an instant.
At that moment, the cultivator in the car sensed the incoming danger. His expression changed drastically as he frantically turned the steering wheel.
A loud noise sounded.
A steel bar descended from above, embedding itself deep into the ground.
The car avoided Li Yi’s attack from a distance but crashed into the ruins beside the road due to the abrupt turn of the steering wheel, coming to a stop.
Smoke billowed from the car; the deformed hood meant it could no longer operate.
Yet, the driver, despite the severe impact, kicked open the twisted car door and burst out as if nothing had happened.
"Which blind bastard dares to attack me? Have you no wish to live?" Fuming with rage, the cultivator had been on the run after killing someone. At this moment, he feared no one, not even an investigator, whom he was willing to kill.
"Jin Zhong, an hour ago in the old district, you killed seven people and seriously injured Investigator Fu Bing...then you stole a sedan and fled to the Ruined District. Am I wrong?" At this point, a voice reached the ears of the cultivator named Jin Zhong.
Jin Zhong’s pupils contracted as he immediately turned to face the voice, his heart filled with shock.

Jin Zhong let out a low growl, his body tensed as he raised his hand to throw a punch.

Jin Zhong grunted, and then his entire arm shattered under Li Yi’s Fist Power, blood and flesh flying everywhere. The residual force hurled him backward, slamming him hard into the ground a dozen meters away.
Jin Zhong tried to stand up and fight again, but a mouthful of blood gushed out, and he instantly lost strength.
"You... know boxing techniques too?" he asked incredulously, eyes wide with disbelief.
