Chapter 378: 373 must live on well with the child
People who got along well with Liao Wang couldn’t possibly stand by and watch him get beaten to death.
They would definitely take out their privately hoarded Energy Water Drops to save Liao Wang.
Seeing Hu Yanxiang leading people over,

“How can you be so harsh in front of all of us? If you’re capable, lead your men directly into Xiang City Base to loot Energy Water Drops.”
“Why would you rob the Energy Water Drops that save our lives?”
But Hu Yanxiang didn’t care about that. With a wave of his hand, several Qu Family bodyguards stepped forward and started punching and kicking the brothers of Liao Wang.
They also snatched away the second Energy Water Drop.
Looking at the people wailing on the ground, Hu Yanxiang stepped forward, squatted down beside Liao Wang,
and with a touch of regret, patted Liao Wang’s cheek and said,
“Don’t blame me, brother. You know we can’t go back to Xiang City Base, I have to think about my own future.”
Liao Wang had regained some strength after taking a sip of the Energy Water Drop, and he raised his hand and fiercely slapped Hu Yanxiang’s face.
Before Hu Yanxiang could react, Liao Wang pounced on him, tackling Hu Yanxiang to the ground.
Liao Wang strangled Hu Yanxiang’s neck with both hands and shouted,
“It’s all your fault, all your doing! If it weren’t for your instigation, we would still be safe and sound in Xiang City, not suffering here.”
“You led us here without giving us a bright future. Instead, you’ve plunged us into Hell. Die!”
As he cursed, he roared at the workers running toward them,
“Hurry and go, all of you, just go.”
A few Qu Family bodyguards came up, pulling and tearing, and beat Liao Wang up again with punches and kicks.
Liao Wang desperately screamed, urging everyone to hurry away, not just each person, but all of them.
This city was no place for people to stay.
The workers whose limbs had been broken by the bodyguards struggled to their feet and limped away.
But Hu Yanxiang wouldn’t have dug such a big hole for these workers if he’d brought only a few bodyguards.
The workers who held the Energy Water Drops hadn’t run far before they were stopped by the Qu Family’s bodyguards.
The bodyguards snatched away the Energy Water Drops and brutally beat the fleeing workers.
They were ruthless in their assault.
They even pulled out knives and, without regard to who the person was, started stabbing the survivors in the belly.
The scene became very chaotic, and soon after, a survivor shouted loudly,
“Somebody’s dead, somebody’s dead, stop the beating, stop!”
The survivors really dared not confront the Qu Family men head-on.
After all, most of them had been well protected by Xiang City, never even having killed a Zombie before.
And among those who had killed Zombies before, not many had followed Hu Yanxiang out.
Not everyone was so hot-headed and impulsive to leave such a good place as Xiang City Base.
Because they had killed Zombies, and knew that Zombies were easy to kill, and with Xiang City’s resources being so ample,
those with real ability would not want to mess around with Hu Yanxiang after weighing the pros and cons.
Wouldn’t it be better for them to stand on their own if they had the ability and resources? Why insist on coming to this city?
In cases where the combat power was limited, not every survivor would unite and bravely stand up against the Qu Family’s bodyguards.
Unable to win against the Qu Family’s bodyguards, the survivors naturally found themselves at a disadvantage.
Soon, the Qu Family bodyguards left, leaving behind two bodies on the ground.
One was the man who resisted the Qu Family bodyguards the most, and the other was Liao Wang.
Pushing off Liao Wang’s body from on top of him, Hu Yanxiang stood up, looking irritated as he dusted off the dirt from his clothes.
He kicked Liao Wang’s body disdainfully, feeling not a bit of sorrow for the death of what was once his brother.
Hu Yanxiang pointed to the bodies on the ground and instructed the Qu Family bodyguards,
“Throw him farther away.”
He then looked at the injured survivors on the ground, as well as the large group of survivors standing in the distance.
Hu Yanxiang spat out a mouthful of bloody phlegm.
