“Is there any chance we can get some Teleportation Tickets back to Xiang City from the survivors who’ve just arrived?”
Some survivor was daydreaming.
They truly believed they would never return to that place when they left Xiang City.
So they didn’t bother to keep any tickets to go back in the first place.

“If we want to get back to Xiang City Base, we can only approach from the north or the west.”
This was a hard fact to accept since E City lay to the east of Xiang City Base, the shortest route back.
If they had to detour to the north or the west, it meant a significantly longer journey.
But with the dangers outside Xiang City Base now, no one could decide for sure whether approaching it would not attract zombies.
The key question was whether the inside of Xiang City Base was as peaceful as rumored, worth the risks to try and make it back inside?
Without the prospect of rescue, the idea of returning on their own was daunting.
“What a pity, if only we still had transmission tickets from Xiang City Base.”
Only those who had left Xiang City Base knew how priceless those once easily purchasable transmission tickets had become at a time .
Hu Yanxiang, one of the henchmen of the Qu Family and Chen Hu, had also been actively collecting transmission tickets for Xiang City Base.
They wanted to use the tickets to return and bring out Energy Water Drops and supplies from Xiang City Base.

“If we describe our plight as even more pitiable, surely the Garrison at Xiang City Base won’t really ignore us, right?”
It was known that the Garrison of Xiang City Base was the most responsible and had the highest professional standards among all city defenses.
They couldn’t possibly turn a blind eye to the two or three thousand survivors in E City.
If they knew the true state of survival for those in E City, perhaps they wouldn’t need to wait for the survivors to return to Xiang City Base themselves.
