Gong Yi ignored her this time, not even glancing at her.
After Hua Mi climbed up to the luxury RV’s overcab bed to lie down and sleep, half-asleep and half-awake, she felt Gong Yi turn off the lights of the RV, and the two children were placed on the large bed at the rear of the vehicle.
He lulled the two children to sleep, then in the darkness, he watched Hua Mi for a while.
Then, Gong Yi too climbed onto the overcab bed, snuggling up next to Hua Mi.
Hua Mi turned over, her back to Gong Yi, and murmured drowsily,

"So what do we do? A powerful bunch? Hostile newcomers?"
Gong Yi didn’t reply, instead, he rolled on top of Hua Mi,
"Don’t worry about it, it’ll take those survivors several hours to get here."
The zombies in the surrounding area had already been cleared out by Gong Yi’s spiritual power, and the group of survivors was still a long way from the ruins of the building where Gong Yi was.
Behind them trailed a group of zombies.
So by the time they got here, Gong Yi would have enough time to teach Hua Mi a lesson.
Rustling noises came from the overcab bed.
Meanwhile, in the dark distance, Hu Yanxiang led Qu Yimin and several other men from the Xiang City Base.
Blending with another group of survivors, they fought through zombies, continuously evading the encircling undead.
Their faces bore exhaustion; after finally finding a place to rest, Hu Yanxiang kicked Qu Yimin,
"Go check ahead to see if there are any zombies..."
Qu Yimin, with her head bowed, covered in scars, didn’t dare disobey Hu Yanxiang’s words, trembling as she stood up to leave the group and scout ahead.
Next to Hu Yanxiang, a man whispered,
"Brother Xiang, didn’t you say you were going to bring Qu Yimin back to Xiang City Base as the second in command?"
"What if she dies scouting ahead?"
Hu Yanxiang looked somewhat annoyed at the man who spoke,
"Let’s handle the immediate situation first before worrying about what comes after. It’s still uncertain if we can even make it back to Xiang City alive."

According to his original plan, he was to make Qu Yimin his own, tame her, then bring her back to Xiang City Base.
He was set to become Qu Shiheng’s brother-in-law.
But the plan succeeded only halfway. Qu Yimin had become very obedient in his presence.
