The Reborn Demon King Girl Chapter 20

There is nothing beyond the expectations of the girl named Mohe.

In the manor, Mohe was watering plants with a kettle, naturally, she wasn’t laboring hard. After all, if one wanted to grow crops well, simply sprinkling water wouldn’t do the job.

When Doro returned with Lisidorwei and Frodonick’s corpse, Mohe had just finished her "work."

Mohe noticed Doro holding Lisidorwei’s hand, a smile appeared on her face: "Oh my~ You two are truly in love, it makes one very envious. Do you two need to prepare for a wedding ceremony? I’m quite skilled in that area. I’ve done quite a bit of research on human ceremonies over the years."

Hurriedly, Doro released Lisidorwei’s hand and approached Mohe quickly: "When will you carry out your plan?"

Mohe chuckled: "Being anxious won’t help. That Charlette is a troublesome person. If we’re not sufficiently prepared, do you think it’s possible for me to take back my right hand from her?"

Precisely because he knew how difficult it was, Doro was anxious. Neither Lisidorwei nor Frodonick had much time left.

"Let’s make a fair deal. I’ll restore your hand, and then you help me retrieve my legs, one leg per person. I’ll help solve all your problems. This way, I’ll have the basic means to protect myself, and you’ll get what you want. As for what happens next, that’s for future dealings. This is as far as I’m willing to compromise. If you can’t agree, there’s nothing more to discuss."

Mohe honestly laid out her bottom line; she wasn’t asking for the world. From her perspective, this deal was a bit of a loss. The only significance lay in whether this Hero before her would become hers; if successful, it’d be quite the bargain, but if he’d rather die than submit, there was not much else she could do.

Investment always carries risk, Mohe wasn’t worried about this level of risk.

"I won’t agree to it."

Mohe shrugged: "Of course, I’m not forcing you. This is your choice, so our deal is only to the point of helping me get back my right hand. What will you do then?"

"Revive Frodonick first."

Mohe was a bit surprised: "Revive him?"

Mohe nodded: "Alright, fine, give me some time. In three days, I’ll revive him. You two wait patiently."

Mohe had already retrieved her left hand, possessing eternal power enough to revive someone from a near-death state, not to mention there was her drop of blood.

Reviving Frodonick wasn’t very troublesome, at least not to Mohe, but she didn’t plan to simply let Frodonick revive—

The girl’s face revealed a meaningful smile; in the traditional sense, resurrection... so long as the soul is the same, isn’t it? Just like her own resurrection, the current body and the past body are entirely different concepts, albeit she was retrieving old parts—Frodonick could follow the same path!

The vampire Lisidorwei was a failed creation. Over the years, she gained new insights into life creation. If creating something from "nothing" was too difficult like before, with Frodonick not completely dead yet, it became much easier.

Plus, this person wasn’t weak and had much potential to work with. If something interesting from the Demon Race could be created, it’d be quite gratifying.

Simple resurrection was too easy for Mohe, so she disdained doing it. When Frodonick truly awakens, he will surely astonish the world! Thıs text ıs hosted at noveⅼfire.net

With such plans in mind, Mohe began her preparations.

The Demon King was nearly omnipotent, magic, sorcery, alchemy—although the body symbolizing these things remained sealed, her vast and ocean-like wisdom continued to exist, ensuring no issues while unleashing these magics. Even now, though not strong, with time to prepare, she could achieve many things.

So within these three days, Mohe started "stirring the big cauldron."

She had Doro and Lisidorwei fetch various items, tossing them into the so-called "Alchemy Cauldron," continuously stirring it.

"This is alchemy, if you wish to learn, I can teach you. The essence is decomposing basic ’elements’ of materials. It’s worth noting that the ’elements’ alchemists speak of and those mages refer to are different concepts. As you may know, elements in alchemy lean more towards the smallest particles of matter, while those in magic are more attribute-based."

Seeing their puzzled expressions, Mohe continued: "What I’m doing now is using alchemy to manufacture the necessary organs for the revival. Maintaining his life is easy with my eternal power, the issue is the organs. This is the alchemist’s method for organ repair."

Doro and Lisidorwei sat on chairs, their eyes blinking, swaying as if about to fall asleep the next moment.

The quality of the teaching was poor, but Mohe didn’t mind, as these two weren’t suited for learning alchemy anyway: "In short, you still need to prepare things required for the ritual. If I were at my peak, this wouldn’t be necessary, but given the current circumstances, reviving a person without preparation is unrealistic. Once divine light descends, it’d be hard for me."

So, Doro and Lisidorwei went to gather the items needed for the ritual.

These two worked diligently.

However, Mohe was still deceiving them; what she had them gather wasn’t for the ritual but for fishing out the enemy. That night, someone had ambushed Frodonick; Mohe needed to confirm their identity.

Otherwise, with such a person lurking in the shadows, Mohe couldn’t proceed with her plans.

Hence, the ritual she planned was actually a trap, to bind that person once they showed up.

With the Hero present, wouldn’t it be a loss not to utilize him?

She wasn’t foolish; Doro now hesitated to use his power, so Mohe would create conditions for him to do so, all for... the revival of the human Hero!

She tinkered with various things, preparing for the event three days hence.
