“What?” Han Chengbei was taken aback.
But Nanyin, who was standing beside him, understood and promptly nodded, “Sir, I’ll get right on it.”
Lawson Perry nodded, not stopping him.

Nanyin replied, “Anonymous.”
Nanyin asked again, “Sir, shall we make these photos public?”
Lawson Perry waved him off, “What do these photos have to do with me? They won’t affect Ye Shiting or Ye Junqing, besides, Han Sen is pursuing Xia Yanyan now.”
Nanyin thought to himself, it made sense not to offend the uncle of his young master’s future partner. It would bring no benefits but only troubles.
Lawson Perry changed the subject, “Last time, I asked you to investigate Ye Xingguang, how did that go?”
Nanyin reported, “I couldn’t find out much about Ye Xingguang’s identity, but I did track down the source of the ten million she gave her ex-boyfriend.”
“Go ahead.” Lawson Perry urged, ready to listen.
Nanyin continued, “The ten million passed through several bank accounts. In tracking the source, I found it shockingly led to Mr. Kuren, a well-known figure at the United Nations. But I couldn’t find any past connections between him and Ms. Ye. I am puzzled. She appears to have no background but always surprises me in unexpected ways.”
“What about her parents?”
Nanyin replied, “Her father is Song Chuanqi, and her mother Bai Lanwu. I couldn’t find anything remarkable about them. Ye Xingguang appears to be their adopted daughter. As for her origins, I didn’t find any leads so far. But given Xia Ye Zhao has shown unusual interest in her, could her background be beyond our imagination?”
