She looked at Dr. Chang, who was unwilling to release her son from her embrace, then at a grim-faced Xia Ye Zhao sitting nearby. She held Xiao Zhenxi’s hand and said, “You guys chat. I’m going in to entertain the guests.”
The guests were the President and the First Lady.
She hadn’t expected them to come visit her father.
The couple didn’t plan to stay long. After a short visit, they left with Xiao Zhenxi.
Xiao Man was reluctant to see Xiao Zhenxi leave. He, forgetting their “long-awaited reunion”, ran after her and grabbed her hand, saying, “Can we play together again?”
