On the other end, Leng Chenmo who wasn’t getting any response no matter how much he yelled, felt his heart sank to the abyss.
Was it too late? Had something terrible happened to Tang Zhou?
Leng Chenmo’s heart pounded heavily in apprehension. He had originally planned to use the elevator to go to the underground parking lot, but now even driving seemed too slow. He rushed to the rooftop terrace, each second was of the essence.

After hanging up, Leng Chenmo dialed Ye Junqing’s number.
As soon as the call was picked up, he swiftly relayed the information, “Tang Zhou’s in trouble at Qiaoshan section of National Highway 406. Quickly bring the medical team and a tow truck. Hurry!”
“What happened to Tang Zhou?”
“Somebody’s trying to kill him. If you’re a step late, you’ll only be able to collect his corpse!”
At that moment, Ye Junqing was unaware of Tang Zhou’s crisis but he knew Leng Chenmo wouldn’t joke about something . His face fell, “I’m on my way!”
“If you get there before me, kill anyone who tries to harm Tang Zhou on sight!” The blood-thirsty tone resonated with deadly authority.
A helicopter whirred into view in less than three minutes. Before it had even settled on the rooftop, Leng Chenmo had seized hold of the helicopter door and leapt aboard.
His voice was urgent, “Qiaoshan section of National Highway 406. Get me there as fast as possible!”
On Qiaoshan section of National Highway 406, Tang Zhou was outnumbered and was knocked out by Leng Weixuan who dragged him into the sports car.
After barely two minutes in the car, Leng Weixuan rushed out cursing, “Damn it, what a day!”
The bodyguards circling the sports car taunted, “Sir Leng, how was it? Is Tang Zhou a man or a woman?”
“If you want to know, go check yourself. Damn, it’s disgusting! I have to wash my eyes later. Leng Chenmo picked up such a thing and even dared to fawn over the Ye’s Family, tossing away his own dignity. This is an absolute disgrace to the Leng’s Family!”
Why is Leng in such a mood?
The bodyguards were confused.
One of them, curious, asked, “Sir Leng, is Tang Zhou pretending to be a boy?”
Leng Weixuan spit and groaned, “Indeed, Tang Zhou is a woman. Just go and see for yourselves. And yes, wake him up. I think I should have relieved my anger by beating him up a little more. But for someone like Tang Zhou, I can’t bring myself to do it!”
One of the square-faced bodyguards, eager to investigate, went into the car and soon echoed Leng Weixuan’s exclamation. Realizing he couldn’t bring himself to lay a finger on Tang Zhou either, the bodyguard grasped Tang Zhou’s acupoint to revive him.
Tang Zhou groggily came to, and even before his eyes were open, he was clutching his aching head, grimacing in pain. He sat up and realized several pairs of eyes were peeking into the car from the outside, and he, was entirely unclothed.
In a flurry, feeling a rush of blood to his head, Tang Zhou hastily sought some clothing to cover himself while cursing, “Get your eyes off me!”
