At the restaurant, Ye Xingguang affectionately sat with Chang Qinghua. They ate, drank, chatted, and even made plans to visit the restroom together.

“What, who did you say?” Ye Xingguang’s eyes twitched.
“Since you refuse to come with us, the council decided to send the Third Elder, Geshu Tang, to personally escort you back. Your highness, he has reserved a private room in this restaurant.” The tall werewolf warrior put out a respectful invitation gesture.
“Xingguang, what’s wrong?” Meanwhile, Chang Qinghua came out of the ladies’ restroom.
Her gaze landed on the unfamiliar tall men, sizing them up, “Who are they?”
“It’s nothing, Ms. Chang. I bumped into an old friend, I’ll go sit in his private room for a while and come back to find you guys later.”
Yet, Chang Qinghua was not at ease. “Are you sure you’re okay?” she asked.
“I’m fine, just catching up with an old friend.”
Watching as Ye Xingguang was respectfully led away by the men, Chang Qinghua figured from their demeanor that they likely meant no harm and finally relaxed.
Aggravated, Ye Xingguang followed the werewolf warriors to the private room. The warrior respectfully opened the door for her. Upon entering, she saw the Third Elder – a boy, about fifteen, sitting cross-legged on tatami.
A boy who looked just fifteen!
Ye Xingguang was surprised and looked at the boy. He was relishing his food and merely pointed at the empty tatami across him when she entered. He then continued to eat as if he hadn’t had a good meal in centuries.
Ye Xingguang took off her shoes and sat cross-legged across the boy. Ten years had not left a single trace on the Third Elder. He was the same “little fresh meat” that she had first seen in her childhood.
But don’t be fooled by his youthful exterior. This guy’s actual age could make him her ancestor!
Furthermore, although his face was pale and tender, he exuded an evil presence that was slightly overwhelming. The more brightly his almond eyes sparkled, the darker his heart seemed.
