"Ring.... Ring... ring...."
Loud ringing pulled Eric out of his sleep. he stumbled around and grabbed onto the phone on the table beside his bed. "Hello...."
"Mister Eric... my daughter. She’s gone. Oh my god, she locked herself in her room last night and now she’s not in the room. The window is shattered. We can’t find her... we called the cops and they are searching for her." The client’s father panicked and sobbed.
Eric sat up straight. "We will get there. Rest assured sir we will find your daughter," he patted Yuna’s drool-soaked face hard.
Dazedly, she woke up blinking up at him. "Wake up, our possessed girl has run away."
Yuna tiredly yawned as he climbed out of the bed. "It’s only five! why did she have to run away so early in the morning?"
Eric gazed out the window. "it’s still dark outside. We only have a few hours before she starts to feel the effect of the sunlight,"
Lower-level ghosts are very sensitive to the sun.
the moment they are exposed to the sun their soul will start to burn and disappear. And there is a high possibility that the poor girl’s soul that is attached to the ghost might start to burn as well.
"Shit," Yuna hurriedly changed into her clothes.
They both scrambled out of the hotel along with their array of bodyguards.
Eric gazed at the familiar bodyguard. "The security footage?"
"We have it in our possession, sir. We have submitted a copy of that attacker to the cops and erased it from the system." He handed a pen drive to him,
Eric nodded. "Thanks,"
"oh, you guys can check out our room. I’m traumatized by this place," Yuna grimaced, looking back at the reception.
"Why? I still have things to do here," Eric anxiously grabbed the pen drive tightly in his hand.
Yuri was here, and he needed to find out who tried to hurt him.
Yuna grimaced even more and hid her face with a scarf. "Please, let’s just go to another hotel."
"Why?"
Groaning she finally looked his way. "I collapsed drunk in the elevator!!! Aghhh!!! I was in my swimwear, completely drunk. I even remember puking on someone. Oh god please don’t let me remember this memory again..."
Eric laughed out loud. "I thought you were attacked."
Yuna suddenly turned around and grabbed him by his shoulders. Peering into his eyes, she whimpered. "I was! and she was a freaking naked lady. She ran after me with her boobs shaking and all... oh Eric... I release that I will never be attacked to the woman again after this. never... I saw too much. It’s now engrained in my brain." He dramatically shook him. "erase my memory! erase it!"
She shook him like a rattle.
Dizzily Eric pushed her hand off. "it’s just boobs. Why are you overreacting?"
"No! it was a crazy lady’s boobs. It was not a sight to behold, my friend. It was not. You should be thankful you didn’t see it," she half hugged him and dragged him out. "oh, did you wait for me by the pool for long? When did you get back?"
Eric blushed slightly as he remembered what happened last night. "n-n I came back after a few minutes."
"You didn’t get caught right?"
His heart rate went up slightly. "n-no! I was fine and alone..."
"Good. I was so traumatized by that lady that I completely forgot about you my dear master. Did you take a could dunk?" she wiggled her brows.
"no. let’s just not talk about last night," he urged her into the back seat of the car and got in after her.
Yuna opened her mouth to talk about something, but he intervened.
"Our client, last night she was weaker than a kitten. How did she get staring enough to run away from home?"
"I don’t know myself. How did she get that much yin energy to jump out the window and rushed off into the forest? It’s not normal. Something is fishy about this master."
Eric frowned slightly as he read through the familiar file again. Both the mother and father were from a very influential family. They were both second-generation rich. Recently, the farther side grandfather passed away.

They reached the client’s house and went to search for clues.
Eric frowned, standing in front of the completely shattered window. Even the hinges were broken. It was not possible for a weak young woman to have done this.
Even the ghost possessing her was not that strong.
It was already weakened by his spell.
The girl’s parents came crying to him about how their girl was gone late in the night. They just found out about it now.
Eric looked at Yuna doubtfully. "Didn’t you guys hear anything?"
"We didn’t..." the father replied.
"I heard a thud," the mother whispered, wiping the tears off her face.
Eric raised a brow. "Then? Anything else?"
"Nothing else... I just heard the thud. I thought it was a fallen tree or something and fell asleep. The trees sometimes collapse... I thought it was that... my baby... my baby jumped..." she sobbed loudly, hugging her husband.
Her husband wiped the tears off her cheeks. "We have all the help we need. They will find her, dear."
Eric frowned slightly and grabbed Yuna’s hand. "Sir how did you get that cut in your hand?"
The man hid his hand. "I got it while I came to this room. I held the window frame...it"
Eric nodded. "Please get it treated. The chipped wood might cause sepsis." He bowed slightly and pulled Yuna out.
When they were out of earshot, he pulled Yuna close. "Check on the parents.’
"You think its intentional?"
"Hmm.... The glass was thick, but it was shattered to that extent. It’s like someone threw her to that window. And that father.... He hid his hand. I can’t say for sure but let’s make a thorough check on the family before we do anything."
Yuna gestured for the bodyguards to get it done.
They went around the premise but they found no trace of the girl.
