Bai Yuri got his phone number immediately. With his family as his audience, he called the said number.
The phone rang once... twice.
Yuri cleared his throat nervously. his hands were still trembling slightly in anticipation.
Then all of a sudden, the line was connected.
"Hello?"
Yuri froze. he could not get the words out of his mouth.
"Who is this?" Eric’s soft voice echoed in the hospital ward.
Bai Kiyuki gestured for him to talk but Yuri simply looked at her baffled.
"Hello.... is the signal bad?"
Another voice came through the line. "Who are you talking to?"
"I don’t know. It’s an unknown number..... Wait, Haolei is that you? Did you borrow Lai’s phone again? I’m onto you! you can’t trick me again ah"
"...." Yuri just opened his mouth and froze. ’Who is this Haolei? Why does he seem to be intimate with him? Wait Haolei... where have I heard that name? he switched and checked the document he just closed and on the relationship column there was the name Haolei written in bold. ’so, he is the brother.’
"Haolei you can’t call me and give the silent treatment! It’s not okay! I know you’re angry I left you alone but you have to understand my job is risky. Yuri’s heart started to pound loudly in his ears. "Hello..." he whispered hoarsely. Frowning he touched his throat. His cold made his voice sound so ugly and scratchy. "is this Joo Eric?"
"...yes, who is this?"
"Who is it?" the feminine voice whispered again.
"shh... I’m sorry about that. can I know who this is?"
Bai Yuri froze, unable to utter a word.
His mum plucked the phone out of his hands. "Hi my name is Kiyuki. You guys do exorcism, right? Can you help us out? Our son seems to be in a different state." She playfully pinched his cheeks.
Yuri pushed her hands off. "Give me the phone." He mouthed.
"oh, we are currently in Denmark. We can’t fly back," Eric said softly.
"What a coincidence we are in Denmark as well. We heard of you from an elder and wanted to request your help. Please...my son’s body is in a bad state. We have admitted him to the grand hospital. Please help us. I.. I don’t want anything to happen to him" The last few words she whispered were the truth she had hidden in her heart. She really wanted his help. If this young man was as powerful as his son claimed then her son can survive and live for a long time.
"ummm... we don’t take emergency registrations..." the young man turned silent. "How far is the grand hospital?" he hushed voice was heard.
"it’s close. Why do you ask?" The feminine voice answered.
"I’ll come and take a look at your son. Please make sure you do not occupy the same room as him if he tries to be violent. And do not try to tie them up. it doesn’t work and it only aggravates the ghost. Just stay put I’ll be there in about.... The minutes."
The call ended just like that.
Bai Kiyuki handed the phone back to her son. "That is how it’s done."

Yuri massaged his face and made sure to wipe it clean. "I’m not blushing... it’s just hot in here..."

Yuri sighed. "No... just... I’m just feeling..." he did not know how to even explain that feeling.
He was nervous, anxious and embarrassed.

His ripped the bed sheet tightly. he sniffed his armpits. Thankfully the nurse had given him a towel bath. His body only smelled off a subtle hint of alcohol wipe.

Bai Quzhu gazed at his wife. "I’ll see what I can arrange."
