It was 8 hours before Grand Holy Saintess Qi Yuexing had returned and she was gasping breathlessly.
Old Reverend Beiyuan who was pacing nonstop ever since Grand Holy Saintess Yuexing had entered the portal that Ji Yuan had indicated, was absolutely delighted when he saw that she had returned.
He did not even scolded Ji Yuan nor Shui Xisi as they began to fight with each other.
It was because Ji Yuan had suddenly realized that Shui Xisi was the one that had humiliated him so many centuries ago and he had sworn to avenge his humiliation (See Chapter 169).
Shui Xisi had actually thought of sparing Ji Yuan that day as she was intrigued by him and did not want to ruin their first impression as she was in the guise of an old woman.
However, in the end, she could not resist on 'playing' him for a while before the White Sword Monarch arrived at the scene.

When Grand Holy Saintess Qi Yuexing had returned, Ji Yuan and Shui Xisi were still fighting but they stopped when they saw her as well.
