Lu Jinghan nodded, changed into the slippers brought by the servant, and walked briskly toward the living room with his hands in his pockets.
Lu Qing An and Ji Qing in the dining room glanced over in this direction. When they saw Director Wang and Zhang Jingxian behind Lu Jinghan, their faces changed dramatically, turning pale as ghosts.

Lu Jingchen slammed the table in anger, pointing at Lu Jinghan and shouting, "You can mess with food, but you can’t mess with words. Are you trying to disrupt our relationship with Grandfather?"
Lu Jinghan raised his dark, gloomy eyes, filled with crimson rage, "Lu Qing An, come over here."
Lu Qing An and Ji Qing trembled in fear, but still pretended to be calm, maintaining the demeanor of elders, "Jinghan, is this how you speak to your elders? I’m your second uncle after all."
Lu Qing An and Ji Qing walked over together and sat down on the sofa.

Lu Jinghan turned to Director Wang and Zhang Jingxian standing nearby and spoke calmly, "Speak about everything you know."
Lu Qing An looked at Director Wang with a vicious gaze, as if warning him not to speak carelessly.
Director Wang deliberately ignored Lu Qing An’s gaze, respectfully nodding at Old Sir Lu before speaking, "After the car accident back then, Lu Qing An approached me, asking me to handle the case as an accident. If I didn’t help him, he would tell my wife about the mistress I have outside. He also promised to give me a sum of money, saying I could leave after the matter was settled."
"You’re spouting nonsense, full of lies. You must have received some benefit from Lu Jinghan to slander us ."
Ji Qing stood up like a shrew from the sofa, lunging at Director Wang, leaving fresh red marks on his face.
