Song Yan nodded and slightly bowed to Lu Jinghan, his thin lips parted slightly: "Mr. Lu, let’s have dinner together sometime."
"Alright." Lu Jinghan simply replied, then turned to Han Xi: "It’s already late, let’s go home."
"Don’t leave, Doctor Han, we agreed to go sing karaoke."
"Exactly, exactly, it’s not that late yet, everyone can hang out a bit more." Several doctors chimed in.
Lu Jinghan held Han Xi with one arm and slipped the other into his pants pocket, his lips curved with a faint smile: "Sorry everyone, my wife had a fever last night and isn’t feeling well now, so we need to go home and rest."
"Since Xiao Xi isn’t feeling well, let her go home first. It’s getting late anyway, let’s all head home, we have work tomorrow."
Chen Zheng stood by, glancing subtly at Han Xi snuggled into Lu Jinghan’s arms, feeling quite jealous inside.

The group each got into their cars, Lu Jinghan opened the passenger door for Han Xi, watched her sit inside, leaned over to fasten her seatbelt before walking around the car to the driver’s seat.
Song Yan sat in his car, watching through the rearview mirror as Lu Jinghan’s car sped away before he drove off.
Back home, Han Xi showered and immediately lay down on the bed, looking at the accessory she had lost and found again with unspeakable emotions.

Han Xi looked at him speechlessly: "Counting today, I’ve only met my senior twice in total, Mr. Lu, you’re overthinking it."
"Hopefully I’m overthinking, alright, sleep now."
As soon as the words fell, Han Xi habitually snuggled into Lu Jinghan’s embrace, slowly closing her eyes.
The next day, the hospital entrance was packed tightly with reporters, as news spread about the recently popular Yan Xiao sleeping with a female fan and leaving her pregnant, forcing her to jump off a building.

The surgery, which took almost three hours, finally ended, with Han Xi and Song Yan emerging from the operating room.
Yan Xiao sat on a bench in the corridor playing with his phone, while his manager was on the verge of panic, seeing stars due to anxiety, yet the main character remained unfazed.
"Doctor, how is that girl?" The manager anxiously awaited Han Xi and the team’s answer.
