Li Manman watched the two people in front of her, and she suddenly felt like she wanted to find a man to date too.
After sending Lu Jinghan off, Han Xi was pestered by Li Manman: "Who said last night that being alone is actually pretty good? How come today you’ve been captured?"
Han Xi also wanted to know how in less than a day, she had agreed to be someone’s girlfriend.
And even felt quite sweet about it.
"Wasn’t it you who told me that this Mr. Lu is pretty good, and you even said if you were me, you’d definitely pounce on Lu Jinghan and hold him tight?"
Li Manman scratched her head, pretending to be oblivious as she looked at Han Xi: "Did I say that?"

Early the next morning, Lu Jinghan punctually delivered breakfast, with an extra portion for Li Manman, of course.
After they had breakfast, Lu Jinghan drove Han Xi to the hospital. Before getting out of the car, Han Xi repeatedly told him not to come to the hospital to deliver lunch at noon.
At first, Lu Jinghan didn’t agree, but when Han Xi said she’d ignore him if he sent lunch to the hospital again, Lu Jinghan helplessly conceded.
In the morning, Han Xi had a minor surgery, and when she came out of the operating room, she happened to bump into Chen Zheng, and they went to the cafeteria together.
They got their food and found a seat by the window. Han Xi lowered her head, eating from her tray of food.

The glowing phone screen made Han Xi’s clean and elegant face look even more beautiful, her lips curved in a slight smile, revealing two deep dimples on her cheek.
Chen Zheng’s dark eyes became unfathomably deep, his left hand under the table clenched tightly into a fist.
In the president’s office at Lu Group, Lu Jinghan and Feng Yi were still discussing matters when someone pushed the office door open from outside.
