"Hungry? Let’s go out to eat. You smashed the food on the table earlier, and it’s not edible anymore."
"I’m not eating. I just want to go home and sleep," Han Xi said, leaning on Lu Jinghan’s shoulder.
Last night, Han Xi had been on duty at the hospital and even had to perform an emergency surgery in the middle of the night. She hadn’t rested since getting home in the morning and had gone to the supermarket to buy groceries to make lunch with Sister Zhang. She was still upset after getting riled up by Su Luo, and had no appetite now.
Lu Jinghan gently stroked Han Xi’s cheek with his fingertip. "Then I’ll take you home first."
Han Xi nodded and asked worriedly, "Su Luo won’t bother you anymore, right?"
"I’ve just instructed the security downstairs not to let Su Luo step into the company again."
The two of them walked out of the company together. Lu Jinghan opened the passenger seat door, watched Han Xi get in, leaned over to buckle her seatbelt, and then walked around the car to the driver’s seat.
By the time the car stopped in front of the villa, Han Xi was already asleep. Lu Jinghan got out of the car, walked over to the passenger side, opened the door, took off his coat, and draped it over her, then carried her inside.
Inside, Lu Jinghan didn’t even change his shoes and carried Han Xi directly to the bedroom, carefully undressed her, covered her with the quilt, and then went downstairs.
Before leaving, Lu Jinghan instructed Sister Zhang to keep the food warm and to call Han Xi to eat whenever she woke up.

After leaving Lu Jinghan’s company, Su Luo dragged Lin Feng to a bar. She was already swaying drunk, sitting at the bar and shouting loudly, "What makes Han Xi better than me that he doesn’t want me... It’s unfair, why... what makes Han Xi better than me..."
Su Luo picked up the glass on the table and drank it in one go, her face flushed from drinking too much.
Lin Feng frowned at her, "Don’t drink anymore. If he doesn’t want you, I do."
"You like me?"
Su Luo hiccupped, raised her hand to circle Lin Feng’s neck, and slowly leaned her face closer. "So you do like me. Do you really want me?"
"Yes, I’ll marry you."
Su Luo laughed drunkenly, her fingers waveringly touching Lin Feng’s brows. "You said you’d marry me. You can’t back out."
Lin Feng’s straight back suddenly stiffened, inexplicably panicking inside.
Su Luo stood up from the chair, grabbed Lin Feng’s hand, and started to leave. Before they even got out of the bar, she pinned Lin Feng against the corner of the wall, tiptoeing to kiss him.
The cool touch made Lin Feng feel electrified, and he bent down, carried Su Luo straight out of the bar.
They got a room in the nearby hotel, and Lin Feng carried Su Luo into the elevator, while the service personnel in the lobby watched their backs in shock, wondering if wild and rough is now in fashion.
Once in the room, Su Luo, in her dazed state, tugged at Lin Feng’s clothes, muttering to herself, "You said you’d marry me, whoever backs out is a coward."

When Su Luo woke up, it was already evening. Rubbing her head that felt like it was about to explode, she tried to sit up, only to find an arm firmly wrapped around her.
She turned her head and seeing Lin Feng startled her into a scream.
Lin Feng woke up at the sound and smiled, pulling Su Luo closer. "I’ll take responsibility for you. Tomorrow I’ll go to the commander and tell him I want to marry you."
