I don’t know how long they kissed, only when Lu Jinghan reluctantly pulled away from Han Xi, who then leaned breathlessly against his chest: "I missed you too."

Suddenly the bedroom door was knocked, and Sister Zhang’s voice came from outside: "Sir and Madam, dinner is ready."

Lu Jinghan responded, then reached to turn on the lamp: "Let’s go eat first."
The light was too bright for Han Xi to open her eyes, so she buried her face in Lu Jinghan’s chest, taking a few seconds before lifting her head.
Lu Jinghan tenderly cupped the girl’s face, his smile so deep it could drown someone.
"Why are you always staring at me?"
Feeling a bit uneasy under his gaze, Han Xi asked with a slight blush on her face.

Han Xi’s nose lightly brushed against Lu Jinghan’s chin, her clear eyes sparkling with a smile sweeter than sweet nectar.
They stayed cozy on the bed for a while longer before going downstairs, with Lu Jinghan pulling out a chair for Han Xi and sitting beside her.
Han Xi raised her head and her gaze unintentionally met Lu Jinghan’s eyes: "Why are they so bloodshot? Have you not been sleeping well?"
The bedroom light was too dim earlier, so Han Xi hadn’t noticed. Now seeing his tired appearance, she felt a pang of tenderness.
Lu Jinghan raised his hand to gently rub the side of her face: "I’ll go to sleep after dinner."
"Then eat quickly, so you can go to sleep sooner."
After dinner, Lu Jinghan returned to the room, took a shower, and lay down in bed. He turned his body, resting his head on one hand: "Honey, come over and let me hold you while sleeping."
After applying skincare products, Han Xi walked to the bedside with a smile and lay down in his arms: "Go to sleep now."
