Knowing he was always short on patience, she quickly sought to please him, and upon receiving his unspoken consent, Gu Qili opened the car door and sprinted toward a store, almost tripping over a curbstone because she ran too fast.

Gu Qili felt extremely awkward; she had only asked to borrow money. If he agreed, he could have just given her the money; there was no need for him to accompany her, especially to such a place. She felt embarrassed.
She was driven by a strong impulse to just turn around and leave without buying anything, yet that tall figure had already calmly pushed open the glass door in front of them.
