The Second Chance of Reincarnator Chapter 47

Morwenna clapped her hands together, motioned for everyone to gather around her in the fountain, and then she started talking.

"In today's lesson, I want you all to stare at your reflection in the fountain's clear water and keep thinking about how your future self would look like."

The students gathered around the fountain, crouched down, and looked at their reflections in the water.

While they were doing that, Morwenna pulled out a can of dark salt, took just enough to hold between two fingers, and sprinkled it into the fountain.

When the dark salt finished mixing with the water of the fountain, the future self of the students, which they imagined just now, replaced their current reflection.

The students exclaimed, and at that moment, their future selves started talking to them, but the students were only able to hear their own future selves's voices.

Morwenna walked over to Kael, who looked away from his future self, and nodded with the word 'yes' leaving his mouth.

"Come with me. You're quite behind on the lessons, but I always happen to teach Mind Image to my students, so I'll do that privately with you."

She said, and then she led Kael to the forest—they found themselves a peaceful spot by a small river, where they sat right beside the riverbank.

"First of all, do you know what Mind Image is?"

"It's one's Blessed Self they can see inside their minds. It represents one's divinity size. The greater the size, the stronger blessed vessel one has.

"If one's blessed vessel becomes too small, they can lose their blessing."

He only remembered it because Raheem talked about it while he was trying to kill himself.

"That's somewhat true, but good, you know the gist of it. A Blessed Self is only one of the Mind Images. It depends on what you want to see.

"If you want to see yourself as Mind Image, you can, of course, do that, but you can also make it whatever you want it to be."

Kael nodded in understanding, and at that moment, he just imagined a puddle inside his mind and made the water of the puddle reflect his divinity.

"Close your eyes, imagine the image you want to see, and then keep pouring your divinity into that image."

Morwenna brought out a pendulum and swung it in front of Kael's eyes. It made his eyes go shut, as if he'd gone to sleep.

With a calm breath, Kael had already imagined the puddle inside his mind, and then, he started pouring divinity into that puddle.

All of his divinity couldn't fit the puddle, so he made the puddle smaller until it was barely the size of his shoe.

It was ridiculously small.

At that moment, Morwenna tapped her forehead, peered into Kael's mind, and smiled.

Morwenna said with her eyes closed, and she smiled before opening her eyes again, and she then pocketed the pendulum.

"Well done, young man! It was easy, wasn't it? You can now peer into your mind whenever you want to and see the size of your divinity.

"As you must know, don't let that puddle become too small. If it does, you will be at risk of losing your blessing."

Morwenna said with a serious look.

"I will be careful, thank you, teacher."

Kael stood up with a smile and bowed to her deeply.

She smiled in response, very gently, and as she stood back up, she said.

"There is also a way to see other people's Mind Image. That way, you can tell how strong a person is based on the level of their divinity."

Morwenna said, and tapped her forehead.

"With a tap to the forehead, and if you focus on seeing the person's mind, you can see their Mind Image."

Kael looked directly into Morwenna's eyes and then tapped his forehead. A headache surfaced. It was painful as hell, but he was able to see something inside her mind.

It was an image of a beautiful garden with colorful flowers blooming everywhere. It was the size of an entire forest, with a peaceful stream running through the center.

However, Kael was able to see something else as well, hovering high in the air like a bright star.

'Is that something others can also see? It can't be. I also saw the same thing in the Realm Between, and others, of course, couldn't see it because the Society of Knowers were still using nicknames and masks.

'Those would be useless if everyone could see this!'

Kael looked away from the mind image with a sharp headache, held his head, and said.

"Is it supposed to hurt this much?"

"Hehe, yes. It'll hurt if you look into the Mind Image of someone much stronger than you. If you dare to look into the Mind Image of Divine Rankers as level 1, your mind wouldn't be able to handle it."

"Okay… So be careful, gotcha."

With the sun hiding beyond the horizon and the mighty crimson moon taking its deserved place in the sky, the students had gathered in the common room to hang around and play some games.

At that moment, Finn and Kael arrived at the common room and saw that everyone was already pretty much grouped up.

"Yo, want to go play some board games with them?"

Finn pointed over to the group of young men at the corner.

"You go ahead. I'll join up later."

Kael said, and as Finn headed over to the group of young men, he looked over to the corner of the common room.

He saw a ginger-haired girl sitting all alone, as it looked like she was waiting for something and was seemingly reading something.

'That's Willow, if I remember correctly. She is an Outlaw, so maybe she knows something about the pretending method.'

Kael walked over to her, and she heard the footsteps and turned around to look at him.

Willow said with a sweet smile.

"Hey. I don't think we've talked properly before. I am Kael."

Kael said with a smile, asked whether he could sit, and after she gave permission, he sat down.

"What are you reading?"

"It's a light novel about a group of friends who solve mysteries together. It's an interesting read, and if you want to, I can share it with you."

Willow said with a smile.

Kael said, and then asked.

"I want to discuss the Outlaw pathway with you. As you know, I am completely new, and I could use some guidance."

Willow closed her light-covered book, tapped her cheek, and smiled.

"Hmm~ You know that the Bulletcraft allows you to craft different kinds of bullets? It doesn't have to be strictly normal bullets. You can also make rubber bullets, explosive bullets, and even bullets that release gas upon impact!"
