“Miss Elizabeth is too polite,” Xu Mo said.
“Just call me by my name, no need to be so formal,” Elizabeth said. “How do I compare to Sal now?”

“If we’re destined to meet again, you will naturally find out. I’m leaving,” Xu Mo did not respond and simply turned away, leaving an impression of a mysterious master.
Elizabeth watched Xu Mo’s retreating figure, the feeling of loss growing stronger. These days, she had grown accustomed to the training, to being taught, and to improving her Combat Power amidst failures.
But now, he might disappear, wouldn’t that mean she would never find out who he was?
“I will still be here waiting for you, sir,” Elizabeth called out to Xu Mo’s back, her voice carrying a hint of stubbornness. To her, Xu Mo was mysterious and powerful, the more she interacted with him, the more unfathomable he seemed.
Yet, despite all this time, she still hadn’t earned his complete trust, not even a glimpse of his face, which frustrated Elizabeth. Had she still not done enough?
She didn’t believe that he would truly disappear just like that!

“Sal and Izekat need occasional training,” Xu Mo whispered.
“Just them?” Zero looked at Xu Mo with some suspicion.
“Of course,” Xu Mo said. “If you need me to accompany you at night, then I’ll reserve time for you, you are the most important one after all.”
