The Speedrun Manual of Miss Witch Chapter 122

If in a simulation, don’t read the last page?

Ciel directly flipped to the last page.

【I did so many good deeds, can we use “Instigator” again next time we enter the save file? Also remember to remind me to use the “Instigator” potion before each simulation. See, “Instigator” is so efficient, and can think of things others can’t. Why not just drink the “Instigator” potion in reality? That way you won’t have your head drilled every time…】

Ciel read only the first line, then put down the letter, not bothering with the rest of the page filled with pleading requests.

Is she trying to instigate herself now?

Sometimes Ciel found it strange herself.

Although every version was her, controlled by her, under the influence of different potions, each version felt like a different person…

While their overall decisions were similar, the details and methods of handling things varied for each different path.

She didn’t know if this was good or bad, wondering if the system might later offer some skill to integrate these seemingly split personalities.

The consecutive simulations and summonings had accumulated a lot of mental stress, leaving her feeling slightly weak all over.

This feeling made her faintly resistant even to being “awake.” If she continued simulating, the mental pressure might become overwhelming.

Suddenly, Ciel thought of something and stood up.

A slight dizziness made her sway for a couple of steps. Ciel gathered all her belongings into her satchel, then picked up her pillow from the bed and walked out of the guest room.

The plan had changed. She needed to make Avena abandon the previous plan.

Each simulation brought new information and intelligence, making previous plans seem flawed.

Now, Ciel’s plan was no longer just to muddy the waters, but to make herself completely disappear from the cultists’ radar while completing her objective.

But these were later concerns. It would take the Divine Advent Church an unknown amount of time to trace things back to Ciel through mere clues.

So Ciel’s goal was to remove Avena and Adele from the Divine Advent Church’s focus, preventing them from further investigating Adele and Avena.

Previously, Ciel hadn’t figured out a way to resolve the Divine Advent Church issue without implicating herself or her two friends.

But now, Ciel had a better solution—inspired by “Instigator” Ciel’s spiritual summoning experiments.

However, one thing had to change: reporting the cult could no longer proceed.

There might not be any Divine Advent Church members within the Church of the Savior Goddess.

But she couldn’t guarantee there weren’t spies hidden within the Redemption Society or the Deton Group.

After all, she only had a list of cultists within Berren City.

Currently, only she, Avena, and Nia knew about the cultists. Even Adele in reality hadn’t learned about them yet.

According to the simulation’s progress, tonight, Avena would confide in Adele about the danger, have her stay in the room, and then go report to Uris the next morning.

Previously, reporting was the only option. But now, with more intelligence, reporting had become a very unstable method.

It would expose Avena, who wasn’t currently under suspicion, directly to the Divine Advent Church. Not reporting could offer some protection to Adele, who would soon be investigated by Kitty.

Ciel wobbled as she walked up to the third floor. Just climbing from the second to the third floor left her slightly breathless.

Her energy was truly depleted.

Holding her pillow now, a strong urge to just sleep immediately began to grow within Ciel.

Forcing herself to stay awake, she reached Avena’s door and knocked.

Ciel heard hurried footsteps inside. Soon, the door opened slowly, revealing a calm-faced Avena.

“Just hang your things over there.” Seeing the pillow in Ciel’s arms, Avena’s lips curled upwards a few millimeters unconsciously.

After Ciel hung her things, she placed her canvas bag by the door and asked, “Avena, have you contacted the Deton Group yet?”

“Not yet… What’s wrong?” Avena asked, looking puzzled.

Only a little over ten minutes had passed since Ciel proposed the idea. Avena hadn’t even drafted the letter, let alone contacted anyone from the Deton Group.

“Don’t contact them for now.” Ciel tossed the pillow onto the bed, then turned to Avena. “And don’t proceed with reporting to the church either.”

“Why?” Avena asked, showing slight confusion.

It wasn’t surprising Avena was confused. This seemed like the best solution. If they did nothing, that cult leader hiding in Deton Manor would definitely trace things back to them.

“My intelligence network… is preparing to handle it.” A wave of dizziness hit Ciel. She fell backward onto the bed, murmuring, “We… just watch… the show…”

“All the cultists… none can escape…”

Avena subconsciously glanced at her watch. It was only around 4:30 PM. Good night already?

What about sleeping tonight? What about dinner? Who’s going to cook the dinner I’m missing?

Also, what does “the intelligence network will handle it” mean?

Does it mean the organization behind Ciel is finally stepping in personally?

We just need to watch?

The organization behind Ciel… what exactly is its background?

They were dealing with a Divine Advent Church stronghold that had been rooted in Berren City’s Deton Manor for years. A third-tier Bishop from the Divine Advent Church was even coming on the 23rd for inspection and assistance…

Under such dangerous circumstances, Ciel was confidently saying they didn’t need to worry?

Seeing Ciel just fall asleep so defenselessly and casually, without any further movement, Avena felt anxious.

She had many questions she wanted clarified, but clearly, a more pressing issue was before her.

Ciel was sleeping now. When she went to sleep at night, wouldn’t Ciel wake up?

“I… I’m sleepy too… Nia, you should go back to your room and sleep too. Oh, and please draw the curtains for me, thanks.”

Nia, standing by the window pretending to be an iron statue: “?”
