The Speedrun Manual of Miss Witch Chapter 421

“You seem to have… summoned me…”

Indistinct Ansu language echoed in Ciel’s mind, causing her to pause slightly.

She had actually been prepared to turn and run, but as she looked directly at the Grim Worm’s remnants before her, Ciel felt no spiritual pollution or oppression.

This was completely different from the previous few times she had summoned it…

Is it because of the 【Overlimit Gear】?

“Yes, in another world.” Ciel replied in her heart, as if communicating with the system.

From the many times she had summoned Little Left, Ciel knew that whether summoned in simulation or reality, Other Side creatures would have some memory, but the memory was not complete.

This was the first time she was properly communicating with an Other Side creature. Unlike the muddled divine servant she had encountered before, the Grim Worm before her seemed to have a certain intelligence… or perhaps fragmented memory.

What exactly is the Other Side? Why does the other party speak Ansu language? Is the Other Side connected to the old days?

“Oh… (Old Ansu language) Ascendant… no.”

The Grim Worm slowly descended to the ground, looked down at Ciel before it, and tilted its head slightly.

But the weak fragmented memory didn’t seem to support it to think further. It was only after a moment of silence that it spoke in Ciel’s mind again:

“Thank you for your… blood… strange… Ascendant…”

“Do you need… me… to do… something?”

She had gambled correctly.

A smile appeared on Ciel’s face. She turned back and looked at the people from the Church of the Savior Goddess with shocked faces. She silently thought in her heart, “Now, kneel down, and say to me—’Lord Mother Goddess’.”

This Grim Worm seemed a bit talkative. Upon hearing Ciel’s command, it still muttered to itself, “I have some… kin… indeed serving… the religions of intelligent creatures… alright…”

The insect wings behind it slowly retracted. It knelt down on one knee towards Ciel. A mesmerizing sound came from the shadow beneath its cloak: “Lord Mother Goddess…”

“Make a little more commotion, just a little.” Ciel urged in her heart.

The Grim Worm obediently concealed a little of the black mist on its face. Violent spiritual alarms exploded in everyone’s minds!

Madeline looked at the scene before her in shock and subconsciously took two steps back.

Yes… the Grim Worm that appeared before them, just as described in the ancient scriptures of the Holy War era. Although it was just remnants, the pressure it revealed made the potion in her, a Tier 4, become agitated and boil.

This is the aura of the Other Side… she couldn’t be mistaken…

The saintess whose spirit body did not return after exploring the Other Side before, the aura emanating from her remnants was also …

Could the Church of the Savior Goddess really be wrong?

Is the Divine Advent Church the true orthodoxy?

Madeline suddenly turned her head to look at the Pope, seemingly wanting her to say something to deny everything that was happening before her.

But the Pope was also frozen in place at this moment. Her cloudy pupils were filled with confusion.

Tara, who was half-kneeling at this moment, was looking at Ciel, who was standing before the Grim Worm and receiving the kneeling, with fanatical obsession… She knew it…

Tara stood up, turned to look at the people from the Church of the Savior Goddess behind her, and said, “Mother Goddess does not wish for Her children to be divided. We inherently possess the same faith.”

“Now, an opportunity that only we possess is before us. There is no room for choice!”

“Let the Church of the Savior Goddess! Be great again!”

Upon seeing the Grim Worm, a considerable number of Archbishops had already begun to waver.

Especially the people from the Judicator’s Court. The moment they saw the Grim Worm, they were already desperate to rush over and beg for the forgiveness of the Mother Goddess and the saints.

Now, upon hearing Tara’s preaching, they quickly took a few steps forward, stood outside the blood array, knelt down, and deeply bowed their heads.

“Lord Mother Goddess.”

“Lord Mother Goddess, please forgive my ignorance…”

“Mother Goddess above…”

More and more people walked to the opposite side. The hand holding the scepter had begun to tremble. She could no longer imagine what reason she would use to explain all this…

This is a fact witnessed with her own eyes… A Holy Spirit has truly descended upon the world…

The aged Pope coughed up a mouthful of blood and knelt down, supporting herself with her scepter. Her lifelong energy had almost all been spent on the secularization of the church, because deep down in her heart, she no longer believed in the existence of a true Goddess.

The so-called Goddess, wasn’t She just a more powerful ascendant from before the Holy War era? Those so-called saints, weren’t they just transcendents who collapsed after losing control? Weren’t these all things that had been beautified in the long course of history?

Unexpectedly… they truly existed?

The scepter that slipped from her hand fell to the ground with a crisp sound. The gem symbolizing supreme authority and nobility also cracked from the fall. She fell face down on the ground, her life or death unknown.

Madeline, seeing this scene, finally gave up the last shred of fantasy in her heart. Trembling, she picked up the scepter, walked through the kneeling Archbishops, knelt down, and handed the scepter to Tara with both hands.

“May… the Mother Goddess’s representative forgive…”

Tara turned back and, upon seeing Ciel’s approving gaze, reached out and took the shattered scepter.

“What are you Church of the Savior Goddess… doing?”

With a loud noise, a middle-aged man in noble attire slowly walked out from the dust. Silver-white iron armor covered his right cheek. The dark purple pupil in his left eye emanated the authority of a superior.

His gaze slowly shifted from the kneeling multitude of Church of the Savior Goddess followers to the hand of the girl holding the Pope’s scepter, and then looked at the sky-blue haired young girl beneath the Goddess statue and the black-robed monstrous shadow behind her.

Upon seeing the gaze the monstrous shadow cast towards him, his pupils constricted slightly.

Other Side creature… How is this possible?!
