Neraxis hummed to himself as he finally finished his training. It took a while, but for his own peace of mind, he decided not to check his status screen until he was done.
And now that he was, it was time for the grand reveal.

He had combined most of his skills and formed Vampiric Dominance. It was just a skill formed by fusing his Aura, Domain, and others into vampiric variants
But aside from that, he had managed to master a few of Evangeline's swordsmanship skills. Albeit, the footwork and swordsmanship were a bit difficult to learn.
Especially since he had no one guiding him.
As for his affinity? He was now able to disintegrate space itself. And while it may seem overpowered, he had nearly killed himself testing it out.
So until he got stronger and had better control over his remaining abilities, he wouldn't try that again.
And most importantly, his age. He had become a literal old man.
Is this even considered old at this point? Aren't I ancient?
Being two centuries old was definitely not on his agenda. In one lifetime, at least.
He couldn't raise his physical stats since he didn't exactly have a physical body. But the other stats worked just fine.
And now, it was finally time for Neraxis to leave this place.
I wonder what's going to happen? Will I look like a piece of meat, or will my regeneration kick in...? Neraxis thought, and without wasting another second, pressed yes.
In the very next moment, his vision blurred slightly, and he saw the mind realm slowly disintegrate. And what replaced it was a hellish landscape.
He could feel his body and even move it, so slowly, he stood up.
Neraxis quickly made a mirror out of blood and glanced at himself. Thankfully, his appearance didn't change much, aside from his hair magically growing longer.
He also made sure to check his status screen, and thankfully, the stats he gained remained. At the same time, he could feel his Mana Capacity shoot through the roof. It was much higher than he imagined, and for once, it seemed like he really didn't need his body to train it.
Even so, the first thing he did after he got out was contact none other than Evangeline.
Hey. Are you two okay?
There was a connection, he was sure of it. But even after minutes passed, she didn't respond.
He came to a simple conclusion that she was mad at him, so he put that aside for the time being and focused on where he was.
Since his strength was back, he doubted he was still inside Dreamspire. But as he walked a few steps forward, a single popup appeared.
"How do I leave?" he asked, hopeful.
And to his surprise...
...Yes? Neraxis immediately agreed. He was done with this tower for now, and hopefully, he managed to do what had to be done. Though he wasn't sure whether the Sovereign of Pride, Ash, had survived or not.
He felt a strong pull, and soon, he found himself outside the Dreamspire tower, standing right in front of the gate he had placed his hands on.
Stellar Dominion wasn't reacting, so he couldn't see whether or not they managed to clear that Astral Tower. But even so, he was done here.
Or so he hoped, at least.
He took a deep breath and stretched his mana as far as he could. To his surprise, he was able to cover the entire world. Because of that, he also managed to find his new home in the mountain.
Everyone was fine, and he could tell Evangeline was there too. She was drinking a red smoothie, which he only assumed to be blood.
He flared his mana at her, slightly disrupting her drinking. That was when her eyes suddenly shot open, and she glanced in his direction.
Despite being so far away, it was almost as if she was looking straight at him.
And soon, she vanished from the spot.
Neraxis chuckled and found a seat.
Just a few minutes later, he felt an extremely strong mana signature approach, and before he knew it, that mana signature crashed straight into him.
"N-Neraxis!" Evangeline yelled, grabbing his cheek as she lay on top of him. "Do you know how worried I was? I thought you died! How do you think it felt telling your family you were out training? I had to put up with acting like everything was okay for the last year!"
Neraxis paused, tilting his head. "...I was gone for a year?"
"Yes! You..." Evangeline trailed off as she leaned in and kissed him on the forehead.
Immediately, the faint connection he felt earlier became strong once more.
[You were gone for a year,] she spoke inside his mind. [During that time, we had a few invaders, but I dealt with them, so you don't have to worry. Also, that guy you assigned to finding the prophet? I had to kill him too.]
"Huh? Why?" Neraxis asked.
Her cheeks puffed, pouting. "He was useless. I told him to do something, and he went on and on about how you're the only one who can issue commands. So after a few weeks of him doing this, I decided enough is enough, so I killed him."
"Right..." Neraxis sighed, staring straight into Evangeline's eyes.
"Wanna take a peek into my mind?"
