With the launch of Togashi Yoshihiro's manga, and Chii's relentless promotion, it quickly drew a huge wave of traffic. Readers poured in, and submissions from creators followed.
A young man sat in his study, surrounded by snacks and sugary drinks. The trash can nearby overflowed with garbage, along with... questionably used tissues.
The air carried a strange odor, a mix of various unidentifiable smells.
"Togashi Yoshihiro? A new manga platform?"
"A brand-new platform with tons of perks?"
He hesitated for a moment, then clicked in.
He already enjoyed reading manga regularly, and if he really liked one, he'd even collect the physical volumes. His study was filled with them.
"Free access to all manga for the first ten days?"
Once he entered the platform, that was the first thing he saw—and it immediately piqued his interest.
Who doesn't love free stuff?
Of course, it still depends on quality. If the quality's bad, even free isn't appealing. But you can't judge that until you actually read the manga.
He started by checking the rankings.

Any attempt to manipulate the data would be flagged by the AI.
This chart was different—it was curated by editors. The New Manga Ranking was under Ron's control.

The young man first checked the New Manga Ranking.
While Chii's AI could prevent others from faking data, Ron could still tamper with it himself. So Baki's stats were quickly boosted. It shot up to the top of the New Manga Ranking.
Nobody thought it was strange—after all, these were all new entries, most only had a chapter or two, and Baki's quality was genuinely solid.
"Great art style—you can almost feel the punches land."
"Fast-paced. Brutal."
"So this is a martial artist, huh?"
As more people read it, Baki started gaining traction. Ron could clearly sense Natsu's strength improving. Given the same energy, the current Natsu was stronger than before.
Not by a huge margin, but the growth was there.
"This is just the beginning. Once Baki hits its peak story arcs…
"Once the novel, manga, and physical editions are all out…"
"That's when its popularity will really explode. The ripple effect will be massive."
And when that happens, Natsu's power-up will be far greater than it is now.
Ron looked forward to it.
Two days later, he uploaded Chapter Two.
By that time, Baki had reached the top spot on the New Manga Ranking.
Thanks to strong performance, it moved into the auto-signing process.
On the Togashi Yoshihiro platform, there were two ways to get signed:
If your manga hit certain metrics, the AI would evaluate it and automatically start the contract process. If the author accepted, the application would go to Harold.
Once signed, the author would start earning income.
If the data wasn't strong enough, but editors saw potential in a manga, they could manually reach out and recommend a contract.
Ron had structured it this way to accommodate different types of works—ensuring no high-potential manga slipped through the cracks.
The more promising titles they had, the hotter the platform would get. And when the platform thrives, every series benefits.
The platform had only been online for a few days, but it was already showing amazing promise.
It was nothing like his previous company—not even on the same level.
"At this rate, this platform might become the biggest in the Fiora Kingdom. Plus, it has the Dragon Dojo backing it—no one would dare mess with it."
When smaller companies grow, they often run into shady tactics—like being plagiarized, or creators being silenced. But with Dragon Dojo involved, no one would dare touch this platform.
Now that the platform was up and running, and Baki had secured a top spot, Ron's attention began shifting elsewhere.
"The squad's been doing team coordination drills for days. It's about time for a live mission."
Ron logged into the assassin commission site.
He started browsing contracts.
One after another passed by— Until one caught his eye.
The Republic of Minbo.
"Formerly a member of the Minbo Republic's army. But defected with his subordinates and went rogue.
Bounty: 10 billion Jenny."
Ron's interest was piqued. A bounty that high meant serious strength.
And he had a team. Plus, he was from the Republic of Minbo.
Ron was intrigued by anything involving the V5.
He had absorbed Fiora Kingdom's traits and gained the Nen beast Natsu.
He had absorbed the Saherta Federation's traits and obtained the Nen beast Akame.
Now, what about the Minbo Republic?
"This could be my chance to infiltrate and absorb the traits of the Minbo Republic."
