Ling Feng and Ao Yun turned around and went back to the villa, but Scarface Man and the others were on edge, as if facing a formidable enemy outside.
"Boss, what do we do?" a lackey asked nervously, "This thing reeks of strangeness, could it be..."
"Weird my ass!" Scarface Man slapped the lackey, angrily saying, "Do you really believe that there are people in this world who can control lightning? What a joke! Look at this clear sky, where would the lightning come from?"
"But Third Brother, he..." the lackey pointed at Lei Ji, who had already shown no signs of life, and said with some fear, "I feel like there's an evil aura emanating from this person!"
The look on Scarface Man's face darkened as he eyed his subordinates, who normally fought fearlessly but now wore expressions of dread.

Scarface Man's gaze turned to the others, and each lackey he made eye contact with lowered their heads and couldn't help stepping back, dreading being directly singled out by the boss!
"A bunch of cowards!" Scarface Man snorted coldly. He took a deep breath and stepped toward the direction of the line.
"Boss, don't go over there!" a lackey stepped forward to grab the boss, saying, "What if ..."
"There are no 'what ifs'!" Scarface Man scoffed, "I simply refuse to believe that anyone in this world can control lightning! Even if I were to encounter it and die, it would be worth it!"
With that, he shook off the lackey's hand and strode forward.

But today, standing outside this line, a sudden fear surged in his heart. Yet, in front of all his underlings, he had to stiffen his nerves and continue forward, for if he showed any sign of retracting, he would lose the loyalty of his men!
"I want to see if heaven can take away Scarface's life!" he thought to himself. With that thought, Scarface stepped out, crossing over the line.
Scarface Man warily looked up at the sky, which was clear and cloudless, a vast expanse of blue.
"Where's the lightning?" Scarface Man sneered, "I've already crossed over, where's the lightning?"
At this moment, Scarface Man was even more convinced that it was all just a Blinding Technique by Ling Feng. As for why that lightning struck earlier, Scarface Man couldn't figure it out and didn't bother to think about it.
"You bunch of wimps!" Scarface Man scoffed, "Are you not going to hurry over here and drag those two guys out for me?"
"Boss, you..." Despite Scarface Man's orders, his lackey looked at him with eyes filled with terror, saying, "Boss, run for your life!"
"Run? There's not even a peal, let alone lightning..." Scarface Man was saying when he suddenly realized his body was sinking.
He looked down, horrified, as his legs appeared to sink into a marsh, his entire body steadily descending further into the ground.
"What's going on?" He tried to pull his leg out, but the ground around him was unusually hard, and he couldn't pull it out at all!
Panic set in. The Scarface Man was truly panicking now. At this rate, in less than thirty seconds, he would be buried alive.
"Have you all gone mad? Come and pull me out!" Scarface Man couldn't help but shout angrily.
Only then did his gang snap out of their daze, rushing over to reach for Scarface Man and pull.
Even with dozens of underlings pulling at Scarface Man, they still couldn't stop the rate at which his body was sinking.
After ten seconds, half of Scarface Man's body had already sunk into the ground, a look of despair spreading across his face.
Fifteen seconds later, Scarface Man had sunk to his chest. He was beginning to feel his breathing constrained, as if a mountain were pressing on his chest, making it hard to breathe...
"Young Master, do you really intend to kill these people?" Ao Yun asked as he looked at the scene unfolding outside.
Ling Feng responded with a faint smile, "These are just the front-row lackeys. If I really took action against them, I'm certain the Chu Family would have a contingency plan!"
Ao Yun nodded, "So these people..."
"Merely scaring them," said Ling Feng coldly. "If we don't intimidate them, how would they possibly cooperate willingly?"
As Ling Feng watched from the outside, Scarface Man's body had already sunk largely into the ground, with only his neck and above still exposed. His face was beet red, he was gasping for air with his mouth agape, but even so, he could feel his brain starting to suffer from lack of oxygen.
Just as his consciousness was blurring, he thought he saw a figure emerge from the villa.
"Do you still want to trouble me now?" Ling Feng asked with a cold smirk, looking at the man who was near suffocation.
Thud, thud, one by one, the underlings all knelt down, continuously kowtowing and begging for mercy, "Great one, please spare us! We were only following orders. Just spare us and we promise never to come back again. Please, we beg you, spare our boss!"
Ling Feng saw that Scarface Man's eyes were beginning to glaze over and knew it was his limit.
With a snap of his fingers, the earth around Scarface Man's body instantly turned into soft sand, and his breathing immediately cleared up.
"Quick, pull the boss out!" Everyone looked at Ling Feng with awe in their eyes. Such uncanny and godlike methods, when had these low-level thugs ever witnessed such abilities?
After they pulled Scarface Man out, it took three to four minutes before he regained his clarity from the haze of his consciousness.
"Awake?" Ling Feng said indifferently, "Now that you're awake, call out the person behind the scenes!"
Scarface Man looked at Ling Feng with a complex expression. With the powers that Ling Feng had demonstrated, Scarface knew he had no choice but to cooperate.
He sighed, took out his phone from his pocket, and dialed a number, "Is that Mr. Chu? Everything is going smoothly. Please send someone up immediately!"
After hanging up the phone, Scarface Man got up from the ground, as quiet as a docile wife.
