After untying John Brown, Lucy Campbell covered him with a blanket and then shooed the three girls out.
Lily and the others didn’t stay around this time, feeling quite embarrassed, so they took the opportunity to slip away.
John Brown didn’t see the three girls for the rest of the afternoon. It wasn’t until dinner that he ran into them again.
By now, they had returned to normal, laughing and joking, still teasing John but without going overboard.
No one drank that evening. After dinner, they chatted in the living room for a while before heading off to rest.
Lucy and John returned to their room. Lucy shook her head and said, "If these three girls could be this well-behaved every day, that would be great."
John laughed and said, "Live a lifetime, happiness is what matters."
Lucy nodded and said, "That’s why I envy them. By the way, you can’t take a shower. Let me wipe you down."
John quickly said, "There’s no need for that, right?"
"Afraid I won’t take good care of you?" Lucy smiled at John.
John awkwardly smiled and said, "That’s not it, it’s just..."
"There’s no just. For one, you’re my good friend. Also, you got hurt saving my good friend and while helping me, so it’s my responsibility. And besides... after what happened last night, what do you have to be embarrassed about?"
John forced a laugh. The last thing he wanted was for her to bring this up. As soon as Lucy mentioned it, his defenses crumbled.
When Lucy wiped John’s body, she was very careful and gentle, especially when wiping his legs. She made sure to clean every small area precisely. If his wounds had been properly treated in the first place, John wouldn’t have suddenly gotten tetanus.
After wiping his upper body and legs, Lucy looked at John’s lower waist and blushed.
John quickly said, "Uh... this should be enough, right?"
Lucy bit her lip and said, "Might as well finish. You’ll sleep more comfortably."
"Lucy, there’s really no need."
Lucy flicked her hair and flashed a bright, sweet smile, "I kissed you yesterday. Now I’m using my hands, and you’re still shy?"
"Lift your butt a bit." Lucy ignored John’s protests and started taking off his pants.
John awkwardly assisted Lucy, finding this situation almost comically frustrating. It seemed he’d gone two days without wearing pants—first Sandra in the hospital, then Lily and the others, and now Lucy.
Lucy blushed and said, "You naughty boy, being sick and still not honest."
"It’s just... a natural reaction."
"Humph, yesterday you bit my lip so hard." Lucy lightly squeezed as if punishing him.
John felt even more awkward. Yesterday had just been too good, especially at the peak, and he lost control a bit. It was not surprising he ended up bumping Lucy.
Fortunately, Lucy had moved on to cleaning with a towel. After a few wipes, she pulled up John’s pants, which allowed John to finally breathe a sigh of relief. Still, he couldn’t deny there was a slight sense of disappointment.
Lucy packed up and left for about an hour before returning. When she did, she wore only a thin, silvery satin nightgown. Her hair was freshly washed, slightly disheveled.
"Still awake?" Lucy sat on the bed, raising her arms to fix her hair.
John glanced over, and from Lucy’s armpit, he could see inside her nightgown. To his surprise, Lucy wasn’t wearing a bra, revealing a small glimpse of her plump breasts.
This excited John. Though he’d already seen Lucy entirely, including the most intimate parts, this little peek felt even more thrilling than seeing her fully nude before.
Without hearing John’s response, Lucy turned to see him staring. Tracing his gaze, she realized what he was looking at. Blushing, she said, "You act like you haven’t seen it before, such a big reaction?"
John couldn’t hold back a gulp, caught by Lucy, but he wasn’t embarrassed. Instead, he smiled and said, "This kind of view gives a voyeuristic thrill."
Lucy chuckled, "You men, always sneaky."
John laughed heartily, "True, men lack this quality that women have. Women love wholeheartedly."
"Yes, love someone, and it’s for life. Even with flaws, love is unwavering."
Was this Lucy confessing?
"Anyway, I don’t have a boyfriend, so why am I rambling? Let’s sleep; Gina’s entrusted you to me. I can’t let you sleep badly, or Gina will blame me." Lucy smiled at John and climbed into bed.
The bed only had one blanket, making John feel strange. Lucy mentioned Gina, yet they were sharing a bed and a blanket. What was that all about?
The room felt quiet. Neither John nor Lucy spoke. After a moment, Lucy turned and looked at John, "John, after yesterday... do you think less of me?"
John didn’t expect Lucy to bring this up. Clearing his throat, he said, "Of course not, everyone was just drunk and having fun."
"I know being drunk excuses a lot, but I’ve never even had a boyfriend. Doing that with you, in front of the other three, was just so reckless."
"It was reckless. We were cornered into that. Frankly, I benefited a lot, so should I be responsible for you?"
Lucy softly laughed, "No need. It was enjoyable, after all, you have quite a bit of experience."
With Lucy speaking freely, John relaxed, "Well, maybe a little."
Lucy playfully pinched his arm, "You’re always blowing your own horn. You’ve ruined several of my firsts, the first man to carry me, the first to undress me, my first kiss, and then there was yesterday. I haven’t even lost my virginity yet but ended up doing this with you."
John laughed, "It’s an honor to have so many firsts with ’SSUP Country’s’ number one beauty."
"Of course, other men would die of jealousy if they knew. It’s just a shame it has to remain a secret."
"You’re so vain. Now, sleep tight."
John agreed, and they stopped talking. Both knew the other wasn’t asleep, but neither opened their eyes, trying to force themselves to sleep, which oddly made it harder. Normally, John could easily put himself to sleep, but with Lucy beside him, he was too distracted.
"Sigh, I really can’t sleep . Want to... hold me?" Lucy finally admitted her struggle.
"Sure!" John quickly responded, slipping an arm under Lucy’s neck.
Lucy shifted closer, resting in John’s armpit, her hand upon his chest, whispering, "Much better. Don’t feel awkward. You’ve touched and seen everything, do what you want."
John chuckled, "Then I won’t be polite." He turned his hand but gently stroked Lucy’s cheek.
Lucy expected John to touch her breasts but was pleasantly surprised by his tender gesture. It felt more loving this way. She twisted her face slightly, brought his hand to her lips, and kissed it before returning it to his chest, closing her eyes in bliss.
Holding Lucy, John felt a peculiar sense. Not highly aroused, but rather calm and serene, like holding a long-time, mutually devoted wife. Familiar, gentle warmth rather than passion.
This feeling, he only vaguely felt with Gina, but with Lucy, it was profound. It left John wondering if he really didn’t like Lucy or if he didn’t want anything between them.
