Chapter 687: Chapter 725: Trapped in the Room
John Brown was startled, but seeing Gina Lopez somewhat puzzled yet not showing an angry look, he knew Gina wasn’t aware of what it was. Despite being married for quite a while, Gina was still quite traditional, so she didn’t know what this thing was.
“Haha…” John casually wiped his lips and chuckled lightly, saying, “Just went out and had some juice, didn’t wipe clean.”
Gina gave John an eye roll and said, “Really? An adult acting like a child,” before turning around and walking out.
John breathed a sigh of relief as he heard Gina enter the bathroom and turn on the showerhead, finally preparing to get Emily Lopez inside.
“Honey!” As soon as John opened the window, Gina shouted.
John quickly responded, “What’s up?”
“Honey, come here for a bit,” Gina called again.
“For what?” John peeked toward Emily Lopez. Emily seemed unbothered and was even winking at John, showing no sign of panic but rather some excitement. This made John somewhat admire her for maintaining such a good mood in this situation. He extended a hand to pull Emily up.
“Come if I tell you to come, or you’ll regret it,” Gina’s voice echoed again with a hint of allure.
Emily, who could hear Gina from outside, whispered to John, “Hurry up and go, I can get up by myself.”
“Honey, what’s taking so long?” The sound of the bathroom door sliding was heard; Gina must be coming out.
Stunned, John was about to help Emily, but seeing her getting up just fine, he hurriedly dashed to the bathroom door as Gina opened it, squeezing inside to prevent her from seeing Emily.
“What are you doing?” Gina pouted, glancing at John. It was rare for her to actively invite John to shower together, yet here he was, hesitating, making her a bit uncomfortable.
John chuckled and hugged Gina, saying, “Nothing at all. You called, and here I am. It’s rare for my lovely wife to be in the mood for a joint shower, so of course I’m here to enjoy it properly.”
Gina allowed John’s embrace and, seeing his playful expression, her slight displeasure vanished instantly. She lightly smacked him and said, “You rascal, we’re rarely together alone, so I’m indulging you today.”
John immediately showed a very excited expression, saying, “Thank you, my darling, for this reward.”
Gina haughtily raised her head a bit and said, “Behave well, and I’ll surely reward you more in the future.”
“Sure, sure, I’ll definitely perform well.” John hugged Gina under the showerhead, letting the water drench both of them. He was eager to get Gina in the mood quickly so she wouldn’t notice the outside noise, giving Emily ample time.
Though worried for Emily, Gina’s allure, especially after being left hanging by Emily earlier, had John feeling rather impatient himself.
“Honey, let’s go back to the bedroom, shall we?” Gina, feeling completely enticed, suggested the alluring idea while cuddled in John’s embrace, finding the bathroom a bit uncomfortable.
Having spent fifteen or sixteen minutes in the shower, Emily should be safely back by now, so John didn’t refuse Gina’s proposal and carried her toward the bedroom.
But just as they entered, they saw Emily Lopez sprawled by the window, startling John. Why did this girl take so long to climb up? Emily looked equally shocked at John and Gina.
Luckily, Gina had her head buried in John’s chest, not looking at the window. John hurriedly turned off the lights; having just been in bright light, the room now seemed darker, giving the impression of limited visibility.
Emily finally climbed down from the window, but in her haste, fell with a thud.
“What was that?” Startled, Gina immediately turned toward the window.
John quickly said, “The wind blew the window open; I didn’t close it tight.” As he said this, he placed Gina on the bed and rushed to the window, closing it.
“Honey, I thought I heard someone come in?” Gina asked, a bit nervously.
John laughed heartily and said, “Who could possibly be here? If anyone dared, they’d sure be unlucky. Don’t forget what your husband does; if there was a thief, I’d throw them downstairs immediately.” He glanced down to see Emily sprawled on the floor, unsure if she hurt herself but couldn’t ask now, feeling concerned.
Gina considered that her husband was indeed not an ordinary person, having served in special forces and protected government officials. If he said there was no problem, then there truly wasn’t. She playfully said, “Honey…”
This was the signal; John was about to get into bed when Emily, despite the circumstances, mischievously played a trick secretly on him, leaving John in a mix of amusement and helplessness.
But it also reassured him, proving that Emily wasn’t hurt badly at least.
Emily didn’t persist, just lightly pinched twice before letting go. Finally getting on the bed, John pressed Gina down beneath him.
“Honey, I’ll take care of you today.” Gina whispered softly into John’s ear as she cuddled him.
John felt a twinge in his heart, wondering, “What’s gotten into my wife today?”
A bit bashfully, Gina said, “I chatted with some female executives at the party today; they taught me.”
John laughed heartily, saying, “Then I guess I should let you hang out with them more often.”
“You’re annoying!” Gina playfully smacked John, suddenly twisting off the bed.
“What are you doing?” John asked in a hurry.
“I’m going to close the door.” Gina said as she walked towards the door.
“What if Emily comes back and bumps into us? That’ll be embarrassingly awkward.” Gina said, already locking the door as she spoke.
John was speechless immediately, thinking how Emily would get out now. The room’s door lock was noisy enough for Gina to hear if Emily tried to open it. Gina had essentially locked Emily in the room.
After securing the door, Gina returned to the bed, naked but not getting into it right away, bashfully asking, “Honey, do I look good?”
“Of course, my wife is beautiful.” This wasn’t just flattery; Gina’s figure was excellent, even if a bit shy of extraordinary beauties like Lucy Campbell, but such beauties are rare. Gina was already quite outstanding.
“Then you should look at me more often instead of others.”
“Sure, you’re my wife, of course I should look at you more.” Reaching out to hold her, glancing toward the window could easily reveal Emily.
“Ouch!” Gina exclaimed softly and pouted, “You’re so eager.”
“Honey, I’m really anxious, stop teasing me.” John kissed Gina, attempting to deepen her mood.
Gina gently struggled free, pouting, “I said I’d serve you, stay still or miss the moment.”
John suddenly felt a tickle on his foot, his expression changed, knowing it was Emily acting mischievously even in these circumstances, which left him quite bemused.
