A long time passed, but Fang Zhihan did not come out of the water.
The hot spring was steamy and the surface of the water was covered in petals, so Yu Gangan couldn’t see the man in the pool.
Time passed. She looked left and right. It felt as though 2-3 minutes had passed, but Fang Zhihan still did not emerge from the water.
Yu Gangan suddenly panicked and called out softly, “Fang Zhihan.”
No one responded. There was just a weird silence in the plum blossom forest.
“Fang Zhihan, stop mucking around. Come out,” Yu Gangan’s voice trembled a little.
Did Fang Zhihan not know how to swim? If so, he would have, at least, put up a struggle.
She had a feeling Fang Zhihan was teasing her, but she was afraid that she was wrong.
In the end, she dove into the water.
She wanted to see what Fang Zhihan was doing. But, she couldn’t see anything.
Yu Gangan stood up and wiped away the water on her face. She then said angrily, “Fang Zhihan, if you don’t come out, I’m going to be angry.”
After a short pause, she added, “If I’m angry, I will break up with you.”
Water suddenly splashed in the middle of the pool as petals and water droplets went flying. The man emerged from the water with a deep laughter.
His originally handsome face made one’s heart tingle; nothing in this world could compare to him.
He smiled gently at her in a seductive and charming manner. Yu Gangan swallowed. This scene made her blood rush to her nose and her heart race.
To conceal her weakness of getting flustered by the man’s teasing, she yelled angrily, “Fang Zhihan, aren’t you too childish? That wasn’t funny.”
“Were you worried about me?” the man’s amused voice was playful.
“Who’s worried about you? When was I worried? Even if you stayed in that water and never came out, I wouldn’t have worried about you,” Yu Gangan said as she rolled her eyes.
She was indeed worried. In fact, she was so frightened, her heart nearly stopped.
Yu Gangan was angry from embarrassment. She turned around and wanted to leave; she didn’t want to stay in the hot spring with a man that liked to mess around.
But, just as she turned around, Fang Zhihan hugged her from behind.
The man’s hot chest pressed against her thin swimsuit, almost burning her.
Yu Gangan endured her racing heart and continued to say angrily, “Let go.”
But, not only did the man not let go, he even hugged her waist tighter and pressed his body closer to hers. He then said firmly, “I’m not letting go!”
“Don’t you think you were being too childish? Out of all the games you could have played, you pretended to drown?” Thinking about the worry and fear she experienced, Yu Gangan wanted to give the man a fierce bite.
“Seeing you worried about me…” Fang Zhihan’s voice contained a sense of joy. He slightly tilted his head and placed his lips against her ear, “…made me really happy.”
Yu Gangan felt a tingle travel from her ear down to her body as she blushed. She turned around and glared at Fang Zhihan, “You went too far!”
Fang Zhihan stroked his finger across her cheek and slowly glided it down to support her chin. Once again, a gentle kiss fell upon her lips.
Yu Gangan pushed the man away and fell backwards into the water.
She couldn’t hold her breath for long, especially not in hot spring water, so it didn’t take long before she needed to take a breath. But, just as she was about to emerge from the water, someone held onto her shoulders.
The man leaned in and covered her mouth with his, affectionately transferring her air and giving her a passionate kiss.
He covered her lips and she greedily breathed in his air. The sweetness engulfed the entire hot spring and plum blossom forest.
