Shui Yang spoke while observing Leng Feng’s reaction. Having worked at the Jade Building for decades and having been acquainted with Leng Feng for just as long, he could say he knew the man exceptionally well.
In public, Leng Feng mostly appeared gentle and approachable. But if you truly knew him, you would never think so.
Alchemist Leng Feng was the chief pill master of the Jade Building, and he was also a person who was, by nature, very domineering and fierce. He rarely displayed his emotions openly, but if you truly offended him, you needed to be careful, as he could retaliate at any moment.

The Jade Building was the number one pill tower in the Pill Country and was known for being domineering.
Elixirs were a seller’s market, especially the rare ones, which were difficult to buy. Offending the Jade Building was definitely not a wise move.
Jing Yan also looked towards Leng Feng and upon hearing the question smirked lightly under his mask.
He had met Shui Yang earlier, and seeing him with Leng Feng, he guessed that this person must be a high-ranking individual from the Jade Building.
"My appearance is rather hideous, afraid I might frighten others, so I wear a mask," replied Jing Yan.
"Ha ha, brother, you truly have a sense of humor!" Leng Feng’s gaze sharpened. "Brother, I am Leng Feng, the chief alchemist of the Jade Building."
Leng Feng introduced himself.
"He is Alchemist Leng Feng?"
"I heard he’s a powerful eighth-level alchemist!"
As Leng Feng introduced himself to Jing Yan, the surrounding crowd naturally heard as well.
While Leng Feng was the chief pill master of the Jade Building, he rarely made public appearances, and not many had seen him. Ordinary martial artists found it even more difficult to meet this high-ranking figure from the Jade Building.
