Si Mobai examined at her face. Hints of redness slowly crept over her face. He wanted to laugh but he felt sorry for her. He lifted the blanket and reprimanded her in a deep voice, “Sleep on the bed if you’re tired. Why did you sleep on your front like that?”
“I was afraid that if slept too deeply, I might not be able to tell instantly if your temperature began to rise.” She felt extremely comfortable when he was next to her, so she feared that once she fell asleep, she wouldn’t wake until dawn.
“Foolish girl.” Si Mobai helped her sit up. He sat up as well. He put her legs over his and massaged her calves with moderate strength.
“Hnnn—” She called out uncontrollably as her paralyzed nerves were touched feeling as though ants were gnawing on her calf. “Mobai, it’s alright. I am fine. I just need some rest…Ahh—”
Si Mobai’s eyes met hers obscurely as he continued his massage. She called out once again. Her call made an evil flame to rush up his heart. What made matters worse was that her calf was pressing against a part of his body that was becoming hard. He felt a warm current passing through his heart at that moment.

“Mobai, I am fine now.” Feng Tianlan moved her leg. The numbness had disappeared.
Si Mobai stared at her calf as he let go of it. “Uh-huh.”

Si Mobai looked at her and let out a soft sigh. He hopped off the bed and rushed straight towards the bathroom. Moments later, the sound of water could be heard from the bathroom.
Feng Tianlan stretched out her head and took a peek. Then, she remembered what happened earlier and slapped her cheeks with her hands. “It is improper for a man and a woman to have intimate contact. I need to be more careful in the future.”
She didn’t know what he might think of her. Would he think that she was a dissolute woman?
Feng Tianlan looked in the direction of the bathroom. She felt rather uneasy. When she liked someone, she should care about his thoughts about her right?
Si Mobai showered in cold water for a long time. Finally, he managed to quell the evil fire inside him. However, just as he came out and saw Feng Tianlan sitting on the bed, staring straight at him with her phoenix eyes, the evil fire which had been extinguished started burning once again.
“Mobai.” Feng Tianlan blinked and sat up straight as she felt uneasy.
Si Mobai wanted to take another cold shower, but he was afraid that she might be worried. He took a deep breath to calm himself and walked towards her. “It still early. Let’s sleep for a little while longer.”
“I am not tired anymore.” Feng Tianlan shook her head. She glanced at him, then bit her lips as she said softly, “Actually, I wasn’t like this before.”
“Uh-huh?”
When Feng Tianlan heard his tone going up in the end, she started to panic. “Although I used to like someone, all we did was make a promise. We didn’t do anything else, unlike when I’m with you.”
Seeing her curling up her pinkie, Si Mobai reached out his little finger and hooked onto hers. Their fingers intertwined. “Like this?”
Feng Tianlan nodded. “I used to believe that it is improper for a man and a woman to have an intimate relationship before marriage. Therefore, I haven’t done what I did with you with anyone else.”
