Shen Yunya pressed her palms against her face, which had just been slapped. When she noticed Xi Lin’s indolence, hatred instantly rippled her heart. They had both been daughters of the Shen Family, but Xi Lin treated her with such indifference from the very start. Now, she had even slapped her across the face!

Xi Lin glanced at her departing silhouette before taking a seat opposite Feng Tianlan. She tossed Shen Yunya’s used teacup straight at Azurite. “I heard she’s been here for a long time. How did you manage to hold a conversation with her for so long?”
Azurite held the teacup and looked at Feng Tianlan in confusion.
“Throw it out. She despises filth,” Feng Tianlan said.
When she heard Feng Tianlan’s words, Xi Lin cupped her hands around her face. With a languid smile, she said, “As expected, Dai’er knows me best.”
“It’s Tianlan,” Feng Tianlan corrected her with a frown on her face.
Xi Lin nodded her head in acknowledgment. She looked up and carefully scrutinized Feng Tianlan’s figure. She was truly identical to a painting, possibly even more beautiful than the painted figure. If the subject of that painting was a goddess, then the Tianlan before her was a goddess that had walked straight out of a picture.
“In the past, your beauty was the subject of everyone’s envy. Unexpectedly, you are even more beautiful now. No one can even dare to be envious of you,” Xi Lin said.
Feng Tianlan watched her indolence, a drastic contrast to her cold demeanor a while back. She could not help but furrow her brows. “You shouldn’t have hit her.”
Shen Yunya was someone who held grudges, and Sister Lin’s sudden sternness towards her would only raise suspicions.
“Even if she is someone that cannot be beaten or killed, I still need to give her at least one hit in order to vent my hatred.
