"I am not something for you to simply have Killian," Amelia replied even though her words didn’t match what she was feeling. Her heart fluttered for a brief moment at the thought of becoming his woman.
"Aren’t you? The men out there seem to be putting a good price on your future. Become my wife and I will become your weapon. I will make sure you have any throne you desire. Why must you continue to fight the truth that you want me just as much as I so desperately want you?" Killian stared down into her eyes waiting to see if she was going to deny the obvious attraction they shared.
