The sun rose with its golden rays over the massive artificial island, its warm beams filtering through the tall, futuristic buildings before reflecting off the vast ocean that surrounded it on all sides.
The island had been bustling with life since the early hours of dawn, even before the sun had risen; today was Halloween, the noisiest day of the year in this place.
Colorful flags and dark-themed decorations hung from every pole and streetlight, while the roads were filled with glowing pumpkin sculptures—some floating in the air using a mix of magic and advanced technology.
Festive music blared from speakers stretching across the public squares, interspersed with the laughter of children and the excited patter of their feet in the decorated alleyways. Meanwhile, street vendors were setting up their booths, offering sweets, magical toys, and unique costumes suitable for this worldwide event, which attracted visitors from different countries and the mainland. After all, obtaining a residence visa on the island at this time of year was easier than at any other time.
Even the island's security guards had changed their appearance today; instead of their usual formal attire, some wore masks and light costumes to create a playful atmosphere without hindering their duties.
Yet despite the festive atmosphere and overwhelming joy, it was clear that this day carried more than what appeared on the surface… Halloween on this island was not just an ordinary festival—it was an event where traditions, magic, and ancient demons intertwined with hidden games of power.
"Huh~" — Kojou let out a long yawn and opened his eyes reluctantly as the golden sunlight fell across his face.
He felt his body heavier than usual, especially around his chest, and his shoulders felt slightly stiff.

He didn't seem surprised. Rising, he began walking toward the bathroom while examining Yuuma's body with curiosity.

Thus, he decided to first heed nature's call, brush his teeth, and wash his face before heading to Touka's apartment to see the others.
As for Yuuma, who had taken his body without a clear reason, Kojou wasn't really worried. He could reclaim his body at any moment with a single thought. Even without his overwhelming power, he possessed enough ability to destroy Yuuma's magic.
Keystone Gate
On the rooftop of Keystone Gate, overlooking the entire island, the Meyer Sisters sat nonchalantly, gazing at the island below while Grimoire: Number 539 floated in the air in front of them, searching for the hidden location of the Prison Barrier on the island.
"You're late, The Blue Witch," Octavia muttered irritably, playing with her beautiful, bare feet in a teasing manner.
"No need to rush, Octavia," Emma smiled beside her, knowing her sister's temper. "Master commanded us to assist her, so you'll have to endure it. Or do you want Master to punish you again?"
At Emma's words, Octavia's body shivered, and her face flushed as she rubbed her thighs together as if recalling something deeply embarrassing.
"Hmph! Let him try—I won't give up easily…" she said, breathing heavily, her face red, and her beautiful eyes watery as memories of last night still lingered in her mind and her provocative body.
"…" Emma stared at her sister and could only smile mockingly, while images of Octavia's awkward positions flashed in her mind. Octavia had been completely rebellious against Kojou, who had punished her shamefully, apparently awakening something in her that should not have been awakened.
"Who's there!" Emma suddenly shouted, sensing a powerful magical force nearby. A golden mist quickly gathered and took the form of a human she immediately recognized. "Dimitrie Vatler…"
Seeing the noble from the Warlord's Empire, the Meyer Sisters' expressions turned serious, and they prepared to fight with all their strength against Vatler. Kojou had instructed them to assist Yuuma and prevent anyone from disturbing her.
"Hmm, interesting. I didn't expect to smell Kojou on notorious criminals like the Meyer Sisters," Vatler said with a mocking smile, staring at the slightly stunned sisters. "Don't worry. I can't harm you, since you are Kojou's Blood Servants—and I am also his servant."
Vatler was half-amused, half-annoyed. He had hoped for some fun fighting famous criminals, but in the end, they were Kojou's Blood Servants, and he could do nothing to them due to the magic binding him.

Yuuma knew that Kojou had allowed her to control his body and could reclaim it at any moment, but he hadn't for some unknown reason. She didn't have time to waste, as she already had spent almost half a day exploring the man's body, and she wanted to free Aya as quickly as possible.
