Three o’clock in the afternoon.
Mia Ginger and Koa Jackson arrived at the cinema in the city center shopping district.
It was Friday, but there were only a few people in the ticket hall.
Mia looked up at the advertising screen, hesitated for a while, then asked Koa, "How about watching ’Sky Love’?"
"As long as you like it." Koa lowered his gaze and ruffled her hair, then took two bills from his wallet and handed them to the ticket seller, saying lightly, "The three-twenty showing of ’Sky Love’, two tickets, choose seats in the middle but a bit towards the back."
"Okay." The young female ticket seller looked up at him, was startled for a moment, and stammered slightly, "Hello, would you like to get a membership card?"
Koa, who had never watched a movie outside before, was surprised by the question.
Turning to Mia, he asked, "Should we get a membership card?"
"Will you come with me next time?" Mia thought for a moment and responded with another question.
"Yes, if I have time."
"Then let’s get one." Mia smiled and glanced at him.
Koa looked up at the membership instructions that the ticket seller handed over, put the two bills back in his wallet, and handed over a bank card, "Diamond VIP."
"Alright, please wait a moment."
The ticket seller bowed her head to find the registration form.
Mia stood there idly, glanced at the time, and went to the counter nearby to buy a soda and popcorn.
She walked back cheerfully.
Arriving in front of Koa.
Lowering his gaze to look at her, Koa seemed to let out a resigned sigh.
He didn’t say anything, took a cup of soda, wrapped one arm around her shoulder, and went to the ticket check to enter the hall.
Once the movie’s opening song started, the two suddenly realized there were hardly any people sitting in the large audience hall.
There was no one behind them, very quiet.
Mia turned back, took a sip of her soda, and caught Koa’s somewhat surprised expression.
"Yours is on your left side." Koa took the soda she was drinking, placed it on his right side, ultimately couldn’t help but remind her, "Girls should drink less carbonated drinks, they’re not good for your health."
"Hmm." Mia softly retorted, "But popcorn and soda are meant to go together."
"Oh?" Koa raised an eyebrow.
"Got it," Mia put the soda back and immediately changed her statement, "I won’t drink this next time."
"Okay." Koa replied softly, then quietly watched the movie.
Mia actually quite liked watching movies, otherwise, she wouldn’t have paid attention to the broadcast television directing major back then. But sitting in the dark cinema with Koa, she found she wasn’t really focused on the movie at all.
A little nervous and a bit excited, she kept eating popcorn.
Koa kept his eyes straight on the screen, yet continually heard her faint crunching sound, like a little mouse.
After just a few minutes, he turned his head to look at Mia.
