"Oh, got it." Ye Ranran turned and ran to the dressing room to get some clothes.
Running back out of breath with a huge pile of clothes, Ye Ranran was greeted by a frowning assistant. "Be more mindful next time."
"Nobody told us any of this, and we’re just helping out, we’re not part of the crew." Luo Qi complained.
"Okay, didn’t they say we’re running out of time? Let’s hurry up." Seeing the assistant about to scold Luo Qi again, Ye Ranran quickly intervened.
By the time Ye Ranran arrived, Feng Xi had already finished her makeup and was waiting. Seeing the tardy Ye Ranran, her eyes flashed with jealousy: "Designer Ye sure is a big shot, had to be begged to even show up."
"Here are the clothes. You can take them or leave—with that attitude, I would rather you leave." Luo Qi tossed the clothes in front of Feng Xi.
Seeing that temper, Ye Ranran’s temple throbbed.
With Jun Mochan protecting Ye Ranran, Feng Xi would have to consider her actions. As for Luo Qi, Feng Xi had no such concerns.
"Who are you? What gives you the right to yell at me?" Feng Xi’s voice was harsh, her face stretched.
With a headache, Ye Ranran spoke up, her face stern, "Miss Feng, you wanted clothes. I brought them. If there’s anything else you’re not satisfied with, you can just say it. My assistant, she was just unhappy with your arrogant tone, standing up for me, if she said anything wrong, I apologize for her."
Throughout the conversation, she was neither humble nor pushy, seemingly apologizing but subtly sending a warning.

She’s easygoing, but it doesn’t mean she’s naive. If it hadn’t been for Feng Xi’s bad attitude, she wouldn’t mind running errands for the sake of Jun Mochan.
However, with Feng Xi so obviously targeting her, Ranran, not being a fool, wouldn’t just stand there and take it.
