At the same time, she found it ironic. Why was Gao Han calling her now? To provide her with some care and affection, in hopes of getting her back?
"I’m quite fine, thank you for your concern. Did you know your brother-in-law called me?" Ye Ranran asked.
"Who are you on the phone with?" Just as she finished speaking, Ye Tianjiao’s voice came through from the other end of the line.
"No one important, just a client." Gao Han covered the mouthpiece.
Ye Tianjiao stared at him straightly, "Really? Why did I just hear you call her Ranran? Give me the phone, let me take a look."
As she spoke, Ye Tianjiao tried to snatch the phone from Gao Han, who avoided her, "Tianjio, stop making a fuss."
"How am I making a fuss? You secretly called her behind my back, and you say you’re not trying to rekindle an old flame."
Faced with Ye Tianjiao’s irrational actions, Gao Han had a splitting headache, "Tianjio, you were never ."
When did she change into something ?
Ye Tianjiao looked at him with misty eyes, "Indeed, I was different before, but you made me suspicious and sensitive. Isn’t it because I care about you so much?"
The kind of care that he could not handle, Gao Han held his forehead, "You should leave for a while, I need some quiet."
Ye Tianjiao bit her lip, giving him a pitiful look.
Gao Han turned his head away, wordlessly, rejecting her.
"Fine, I’ll leave, isn’t that what you want?" Ye Tianjiao wiped away a tear.
Just as she reached the ground floor, a Lamborghini pulled up in front of her, the car window came down revealing a handsome face.
"What are you doing here?" Ye Tianjiao asked in disbelief.
Ever since she had a falling out with him over Gao Han, Ye Tianjiao had avoided meeting him.
Unexpectedly, she ended up bumping into him here today.
Could it be that he was waiting here on purpose for her?
Looking around, Ye Tianjiao walked away without waiting for his response.
Gao Han looked on from upstairs, his emotions inscrutable.
On the other side of the phone, Ye Ranran had hung up the moment she heard Ye Tianjiao’s voice.
She didn’t want to have anything to do with those two anymore. Even if they met, they could only be enemies.
"Feeling upset?" Jun Mochan looked at her, not missing any expression on her face.
Ye Ranran shook her head, "No, oddly enough, I’m now able to face him calmly."
"What if one day he regrets his actions, sees your worth and wants to call it all back?" Jun Mochan looked deep into Ye Ranran’s eyes.
Ye Ranran smirked, as though she’d heard a big joke. "Mr. Jun, Gao Han and I were together for three long years. He never fell in love with me. Do you think he would fall for me after splitting up?"
"What if he really does?"
Faced with Jun Mochan’s insistent quest for an answer, Ye Ranran’s smirk disappeared, "Just because he regrets it, means I have to turn back? Even if no one else wants Ye Ranran, I won’t pick up someone else’s leftovers."
Jun Mochan smiled his usual smile, "I’m reassured by Mrs. Jun’s determination. It’s a pity you’re hurt and can’t enjoy a feast."
"What are you doing?" Seeing his handsome face suddenly magnified in front of her eyes, Ye Ranran involuntarily leaned back.
One hand resting on the table, the other on the armrest, Jun Mochan leaned over his tall body slightly.
Ye Ranran was entirely encircled in his arms. "I’ve suddenly realized that Mrs. Jun is very beautiful."
Just as Ye Ranran wanted to say something, her mouth was covered. Her slightly parted lips giving Jun Mochan an opportunity.
After the kiss, Ye Ranran slumped in Jun Mochan’s arms.
