She had never gone shopping with Mo Han.
"Alright, I know you miss your husband. But really, if I had a husband like that, I’d be satisfied just looking at him all day. Who needs to eat?" Luo Qi said seriously.
Ye Ranran chuckled, shaking her head in exasperation.
"Let’s go." Luo Qi took Ye Ranran’s hand and descended the stairs.
Gao Han and Wang Ya happened to be standing not far from the staircase at the cashier desk. Hearing footsteps, their eyes darted towards the sound.
Seeing Ye Ranran, Gao Han’s face filled with surprise, "Ranran."
He moved forward, reaching out to grasp Ye Ranran’s hand.
"What are you doing?" Luo Qi stepped in front of Ye Ranran.
She remembered the scene where Ye Ranran was pushed to the ground. In her eyes, these guys were no good.
Gao Han stared at her displeasedly, "Who are you?"
"Who I am is not important. What’s important is that you stay away from Ranran," Luo Qi retorted, holding her head high.
Gao Han pushed her aside, successfully catching Ye Ranran’s hand.
Ye Ranran frowned, "What are you doing? Let go of me."
Regardless of Ye Ranran’s struggles and cries, Gao Han dragged her outside.
Gritting her teeth, Luo Qi stood up and immediately dialed Mo Han’s number, but then she remembered she didn’t have it.
Just as she was scratching her ears in worry, she suddenly remembered that Ah Chuan had given her his own number.
When Luo Qi called Ah Chuan, he had just finished a meeting with Mo Han, and was following him out of the conference room.
Seeing an incoming call from a strange number, Ah Chuan hesitated, but finally picked up, "Hello, this is Wen Chuan."
"Assistant Wen, something bad has happened. Ranran has been dragged away by a man," Luo Qi, who didn’t know Gao Han, was even more oblivious to what transpired between him and Ye Ranran.
Hearing it was about Ye Ranran, Ah Chuan quickly handed the phone to Mo Han, "Sir, this call is from Luo Qi. It’s about the lady."
Mo Han took the phone and upon hearing Luo Qi’s words, his gaze suddenly turned icy.
"I need to step out." Mo Han gave the phone back to Ah Chuan and strode out of the room.
Ah Chuan reluctantly followed.
Ye Ranran was dragged by Gao Han to his car.
"Gao Han, what are you doing?" Ye Ranran tried to open the car door, but Gao Han locked it.
Gao Han got into the driver’s seat, hit the gas, and the car shot off like an arrow.
Ye Ranran was frantically trying to pry the door open, "Gao Han, what are you doing? I want to get out!"
"Buckle your seat belt, I’m taking you somewhere." Gao Han glanced at her.
When Ye Ranran couldn’t open the door, she tried to kick it instead. With her high-heeled shoes, she loudly pounded against the car door.
Gao Han twitched the corner of his mouth, "Don’t waste your energy. Do you think your feet are stronger than iron? If you don’t want to hit your head, then buckle up."
Ye Ranran took a deep breath, "Gao Han, do you know what you’re doing? Does Ye Tianjiao know about this?"
"She doesn’t know, but even if she did, it wouldn’t matter," Gao Han replied nonchalantly.
Just as Ye Ranran was about to retort, her phone in her bag rang. She took it out and saw it was a call from Mo Han, her face visibly brightened.
Just as she was about to answer, Gao Han grabbed it, hung up the call, turned the phone off, and tossed it aside.
"Gao Han, what are you doing?" Ye Ranran reached out for the phone.
Gao Han grabbed her hand, pulling her close, and breathed in her ear, "Ranran, I’m driving the car. It’s best if you behave. Otherwise, we will both die."
Ye Ranran looked up and saw a car speeding towards them as they were turning. Her pupils constricted as the scene overlapped with her memories of the previous car accident.
She was paralyzed, staring as the car whizzed past them.
