Upon seeing Jun Mochan, Ye Ranran’s tears started to well up in the corners of her eyes.
Looking at her crumpled dress, Jun Mochan covered her with his suit and lifted her out of the car.
"Ranran, how are you?"
Hearing his soft whisper, Ye Ranran’s restrained tears trickled down: "Jun Mochan, why did you came just now? Do you know how scared I was?"
"Don’t cry, it’s my fault for arriving late.", he said and gave a knowing glance to Ah Chuan.
Ah Chuan dragged Gao Han from the car and hauled him to one side.
How could Gao Han go willingly? Just as he was about to struggle, two bodyguards immediately restrained him on either side.
After making sure Ye Ranran couldn’t hear, Ah Chuan finally punched Gao Han in the face.
Jun Mochan wanted to do it himself, but Ye Ranran had already been frightened, so comforting her took precedent.

She must have been terrified, or why would she behave so out of character?

Ye Ranran hugged his neck tightly, pressing her body against his. From the incident until now, her mind was filled with thoughts of Jun Mochan.
She thought, maybe she had fallen for him.
Siren noises approached from afar, and soon a police car stopped next to Jun Mochan.
Director Chen came up to Jun Mochan with his team: "Young Master Jun."
Jun Mochan’s large hand rested on Ye Ranran’s waist and he held her in his arms. Director Chen craned his neck, trying to get a clearer view of Ye Ranran’s face.

Director Chen immediately averted his gaze and asked with a forced smile, "Is Madame Jun alright?"
"The offender is over there," Jun Mochan pointed at Ah Chuan’s direction.
Director Chen understood Jun Mochan didn’t want him lingering around them, so he hastily nodded: "I will go over right away."
By the time Director Chen arrived, Gao Han had already been severely beaten up by Ah Chuan. Ah Chuan didn’t hit anywhere else, only Gao Han’s face.
And he did it with a certain finesse, swelling his face and covering it with burst blood vessels, without any sign of bleeding and no damage to his brain.

After seeing off Director Chen, Ah Chuan returned to the car with the bodyguards.
By the time Director Chen arrived, Ye Ranran had snapped back to reality, but her face was still stained with tear streaks, so she didn’t dare to show her face.
