"I’ll have two more for you tomorrow." Jun Mochan patted Ye Ranran on the head.
Her hair had grown to cover her entire scalp, though it was only a few centimeters long, making her look somewhat odd.
However, because she was not bald anymore, Ye Ranran no longer wore a hat every day. It was only today that Ye Tianjiao had grabbed her hair.
When Jun Mochan patted her again, her face twitched with pain.
"Hurts?" Jun Mochan immediately noticed she was in pain.
Ye Ranran nodded. Until now, she had been afraid to touch her hair for fear of blood.
Jun Mochan picked her up. "Let’s go see the doctor."
Ye Ranran exclaimed, unconsciously hugging his neck. "Is that necessary? We can just go to the pharmacy and get some medicine."
Jun Mochan ignored her and brought her back to the villa. Their family doctor was already waiting.
He yanked a big chunk of Ye Ranran’s hair, causing her to grimace in pain once again.
"Be gentler." Jun Mochan was about to remove his hand.
"Don’t move." The family doctor glared at him reproachfully. "Her new hair hasn’t grown out yet. How could you cause more damage? Do you want her old and new hair growing out at the same length?"
"Enough with the nonsense. Is she going to be okay?" Jun Mochan’s gaze was sharp.
The family doctor knew he was anxious. "She’s just hurt her scalp. Some medicine will do the trick. But, she can’t get it wet within five days."
Five days? Not washing her hair? They might as well kill her.
"Doctor, is there another way?" Ye Ranran asked.
She didn’t want to smell.
The doctor shook his head. "No."
"Just put the medicine on, regardless of her disagreement." Jun Mochan ordered emotionlessly.
Ye Ranran wanted to glare at him but as soon as she met his inky eyes, she didn’t dare to utter a word.
Along the way, Jun Mochan’s phone rang. He glanced at the number and gracefully walked out.
He only answered the call when he reached the door.
"Boss, Ye Tianjiao is currently drinking with ’that person’ at the bar. Shall we..."
"Let him get to it. Once it’s over, you guys can proceed."
Ah Chuan’s mouth twitched harsly. He could tell that the boss was truly angry, or else he wouldn’t resort to such despicable methods against Ye Tianjiao.
Although Ah Chuan grumbled internally, he didn’t dare to say much. "Understood, boss."
By the time he returned, the doctor had already applied the medicine to Ye Ranran. He looked at her face. "I’ll prescribe some medicine to reduce the swelling for your face. It will take around two days to improve."
For most people, the swelling would subside in one day. Given her delicate skin, two days was a conservative estimate.
"Can it be faster?" Jun Mochan asked, displeased.
If Ye Ranran’s facial swelling wouldn’t subside anytime soon, he was afraid he might impulsively go and choke Ye Tianjiao.
The family doctor looked troubled. "This is the fastest."
Fearing the doctor might quit on them, Ye Ranran quickly became the peacemaker. "Two days it is. Besides, the pain is not that bad now."
Jun Mochan remained silent, only giving the family doctor a deathly glare.
The family doctor quickly took out the medicine. "Apply this three times a day, and it should be enough. I have other things to attend to. Goodbye."
Ye Ranran: "..." Why is he running? It’s not like there’s a ghost chasing him.
"Let’s go upstairs." Jun Mochan picked up the medicine from the table and carried Ye Ranran upstairs.
