"Yes, madam." Ah Chuan turns the steering wheel and heads towards Riverside Villa.
After dinner, Ye Ranran takes a shower and then goes to the study to design her drawings.
Deeply engrossed in her drawing, her collar gets unlatched, exposing a large amount of skin. Jun Mochan’s gaze immediately changes.
"How many have you drawn?" Jun Mochan moves closer to Ye Ranran, hugging her from behind.
Ye Ranran stops her hand and pushes him away with her elbow, "Leave me alone."
"This is my property, where would you have me go?" Jun Mochan’s hand starts causing a ruckus on her body.
Ye Ranran collapses limply into his arms, her breath slightly uneven, "I cannot paint ."
"Then paint tomorrow. I’m hungry now, you have to feed me." Jun Mochan kisses her hair, gradually moving downwards.
Just as the two are caught up in the heat of the moment, Jun Mochan’s phone rings.
"Your phone is ringing." Ye Ranran weakly reminds him.
Soft and pliant in his arms, the sound of her breathless voice is unbearably tempting.
"Leave it." Jun Mochan extends his hand under her clothes.
"Perhaps it’s something important." Ye Ranran catches his wandering hand.
Jun Mochan curses under his breath and takes the phone from the table, "Hello."
Hearing the frustrated tone on the other end of the line, Su Yu is taken aback. Not a naive girl, she can tell what Jun Mochan is up to.
The breathless voices made it clear that he was up to something.
"You have ten seconds to explain, or bear the consequences." Jun Mochan’s expression darkened at the silence on the other end.
A chilling tone came through the receiver, like a cold December wind, causing Su Yu some discomfort.
"I’m having a flare-up of an old stomach illness and the medicine expired. It’s really painful, can you come over?" Su Yu holds her stomach as she speaks.
Her voice is weak as if it took considerable effort to speak, her words holding an apology.
"It’s late; it’s inconvenient for me to come. You should call your family." Jun Mochan replies coldly.
"My parents are out, my brother is on a business trip. I know it’s a bother to ask you to come over, but you should know I wouldn’t call unless it was necessary." Su Yu responds in a breathless voice.
"I’ll have Ah Chuan bring medicine to you." Jun Mochan immediately comes up with another solution.
Su Yu laughs, her faint voice coming from the other end of the phone, "Could you do me this favor just once?"
Jun Mochan doesn’t immediately agree, as if considering, and Su Yu’s grip on the phone tightens. As she is about to give up, Jun Mochan finally speaks, "Send me your address, I’ll come to pick you up."
"I’ll give you the address." There is delight in Su Yu’s weak voice, and even a hint of satisfaction.
So, he does care about her somewhat, otherwise, he wouldn’t come over so late at night.
After getting the address, Jun Mochan hangs up the phone without giving any instructions.
If it weren’t for the fact that she’d done him a favor and is his capable aide, for the audacity of calling him about a personal matter, he would have fired her on the spot.
"Mr. Jun, aren’t you afraid that I might get jealous by running off to another woman’s place this late at night?" Ye Ranran leisurely gets up from her chair.
She tugs the strap of her nightgown back onto her shoulder and smooths her messy hair.
An incredibly simple movement, yet somehow she manages to make it exceptionally seductive.
