"Not everyone loves my kind, you just don’t like me," Su Yu said, standing at his desk.
"That’s because I already have feelings for someone else, so naturally, I don’t see you," Jun Mochan stood up.
"Where are you going?" As she saw him pick up the coat from the chair, Su Yu furrowed her brows.
"Where else? It’s obviously time to get off work," Jun Mochan looked at his watch and said.
"I’ve arranged a meeting with some executives for you this evening. We’ll meet at Ling Xuan Pavilion at seven o’clock," stated Su Yu.
"Decline them. I’m busy this evening." He has plans to visit the old house with Ye Ranran.
He made appointments for the evening, to discuss some renovation matters.
Ye Ranran was just a clothing designer, she couldn’t handle interior design.
"What could be more important than work?" Su Yu looked at him, puzzled.
"Accompanying my wife." It was the most logical answer for Jun Mochan.
The gentle tone in his voice irritated Su Yu: "You were not before. Besides, men should always prioritize their career, right?"
"But I already have a career. Now, I just want to stay by her side, why am I even explaining this to you..." Jun Mochan shook his head and walked towards the door.
Su Yu blocked his way: "But I already made an appointment with them, if you make me break it, how am I supposed to do business in the future?"
She slightly raised her head and stood on her tiptoes, resting her hand on his shoulder.
Slightly leaning her body forward, his tall figure completely overshadowed her.
From a distance, it appeared as though they were snuggling up to each other; Su Yu even wound her arms around Jun Mochan’s neck.
Ye Ranran stood at the door, watching the scene inside, finding it extremely irritating to the eye.

The elevator doors re-opened.

"Let go of me," Ye Ranran struggled.

"Maybe you should just switch to another woman then," she retorted angrily.
Her words alerted Jun Mochan that something was wrong: "What did you see just now?"
Thinking of the scene of him embracing Su Yu, Ye Ranran’s face stiffened even more.
At that moment, she had an intense urge to rush in and separate the two.
But she couldn’t do that. Clinging and unreasonable women are the most annoying.
Moreover, such behavior would be considered indecent. Her good upbringing had always prevented her from doing such things.
"Speak," Jun Mochan lifted her chin.
Under his oppressively sharp gaze, Ye Ranran finally slowly said: "I saw you hugging her."
