"I did consider it, but it’s urgent, so I need to explain the situation to you first," Su Yu said meekly.
Jun Mochan’s aura was too strong. She couldn’t resist his gaze.
She was clearly not a weak woman. She wouldn’t normally balk in front of other CEOs.
But for some reason, in front of Jun Mochan, she just lacked confidence.
She thought, he really was her natural nemesis.
"Instead of trying to resolve the issue, you come to me first. What, do you need me to teach you what to do?" Jun Mochan’s smile disappeared completely, replaced by cold seriousness.
Su Yu lowered her head and remained silent.
Jun Mochan brought Ye Ranran to his office, patting her head. "Wait for me here, I’m going to a meeting."
"Okay," Ye Ranran naturally sat behind his desk and turned on his computer.
Jun Mochan said nothing, took his computer and documents, and said to Su Yu, "Let’s go, we’ll discuss it in the conference room."
Usually, Jun Mochan’s computer was password protected, and so was Ye Ranran’s. When she turned it on, she quickly typed in her own birthday, bringing up the main screen.
The wallpaper had been changed to a new photograph of herself, clad in a white dress, head bowed, sewing while crouched down. Sunshine streamed in from the window, casting a beautiful light around her.
Ye Ranran stared blankly at the photo, eyes wide in surprise. When did they take this photo? Why didn’t she know about it?
After her surprise faded, there was sweetness and some embarrassment. She didn’t seem to have any photos with Jun Mochan.
She decided she was going to take lots more photos tonight.
Ye Ranran switched to paint mode, starting to color the finished drafts. By the time she finished, it was already 8 PM.
Jun Mochan still hadn’t come out.
Ye Ranran rubbed her growling stomach, deciding to find something to eat in the pantry.
"Madam, this is what the president told me to order for you," Secretary One greeted her at the door.
Besides Ah Chuan, no one else was at Jun Mochan’s side. These secretaries only assisted him with work and didn’t follow him around.
"For me?" Ye Ranran pointed to herself.
"Yes." The secretary’s smile widened slightly at her cute expression.
Ye Ranran suspiciously took it and glanced over at the meeting room, "Have you all eaten yet?"
"I don’t think the meeting will be over soon. The CEO was worried you’d be hungry, so he asked me to bring you some food. I need to get back to the meeting," Secretary One pointed to the meeting room.
Not wanting to waste her time, Ye Ranran quickly said, "Okay, you go ahead."
Carrying the takeout in her hand, her heart was filled with a mix of both sweetness and worry.
On one hand, she was touched that Jun Mochan still thought of her even at this late hour. But on the other hand, she was worried about him as he was still in a meeting.
She also wondered what kind of issue was so serious that it needed such preparation.
It wasn’t until 9 PM that Jun Mochan walked out of the meeting room.
The moment he pushed the door open, Ye Ranran stood up from her chair, "Is the meeting over?"
"Mmm," Jun Mochan opened his arms, slightly hugging her as she threw herself at him, "Were you really that eager?"
"Not really, are you hungry? We can eat together," Ye Ranran looked up at him.
Jun Mochan’s eyes quickly swept over the untouched takeout, his face turning dark, "Why haven’t you eaten?"
"I was waiting for you," Ye Ranran said matter-of-factly, "You haven’t eaten, how could I eat? Have you ever heard the saying ’eating alone is not so filling’?"
