"It’s nothing, I just missed you." Ye Ranran murmured.
She didn’t want to tell him about that little issue to avoid worrying him.
"Really?" Jun Mochan’s gaze was piercing, as if he could see into her heart.
Under such a sharp gaze, Ye Ranran felt a bit guilty and slowly lowered her head.
"Did your stepmother come to you again?" Jun Mochan asked.
"How did you know?" Ye Ranran blurted out.
Upon uttering those words, she wished she could bite her tongue off. Hadn’t she just indirectly admitted it?
"What did she want with you?" Jun Mochan’s eyes were clouded with gloom.
Ye Ranran knew, he was angry.
"She came to my company, kneeling and begging me to save Ye’s business." said Ye Ranran nonchalantly, "Don’t be mad, I didn’t agree to help her."
"Why didn’t you tell me?" Jun Mochan raised her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze.
His eyes were deep as an ocean, occasionally shimmering, like stars reflected within, easily captivating anyone who beheld them.
"It’s a small matter, I can handle it myself." Ye Ranran tried to sound relaxed.
Jun Mochan sighed, "Any matter related to you, is a big deal to me."
"But you’re already very busy, I didn’t want to bother you." Ye Ranran murmured.
Jun Mochan gave a helpless smile, "No matter how busy, I can always find time. Speak up if you have a problem, I don’t mind you bothering me, what I fear most is you not bothering me."
Ye Ranran wasn’t sure how to react to him, and unexpected emotions welled up in her usually calm eyes.
Ever since she was a child, her father always told her to handle her own issues, and not bother others.
Not everyone has the time to deal with her problems, but Jun Mochan said he didn’t mind her bothering him.
He wishes to embed her entire life into his own.
"Husband, thank you." Ye Ranran gave him a big hug.
Jun Mochan held her tight, "It would be better if you could show it through your actions."
Never serious, Ye Ranran lightly touched his face.
"That’s hardly enough." Jun Mochan targeted her red lips and kissed her.
Just when their kiss was becoming heated, a waiter came in with dishes.
Like a frightened turtle, Ye Ranran hid in Jun Mochan’s arms until the waiter left, then she glared at Jun Mochan, "It’s all your fault, now I’ve lost face."
Jun Mochan nodded, "Yes, it’s my fault. I embarrassed my wife."
His candid admittance left Ye Ranran with nothing to say. She could only blush and eat her meal.
"Don’t just focus on eating, have more dishes." Jun Mochan threw some meat into Ye Ranran’s bowl, "Eat more, get a bit fatter."
"Why should I get fatter? I have meat where I should have meat." Ye Ranran puffed out her chest confidently.
Jun Mochan glanced at a certain area and said with a smirk, "It’s a little bit small."
"34B, where is it small?" Ye Ranran looked down and replied discontentedly.
Jun Mochan raised an eyebrow, "Really? Let me feel and see."
"Feel it then." Genuine goods, definitely not enhanced.
Just as Jun Mochan’s hand was about to touch, Ye Ranran suddenly realized, and she slapped his hand away, "Jun Mochan, you’re acting like a pervert again."
"It’s called being playful, don’t you like it, my lady?" Jun Mochan shamelessly retorted.
Liking my ass, Ye Ranran gave him a glare, unwilling to continue their conversation, she went back to eating.
After dinner, Ye Ranran returned to work overtime till ten at night, when Jun Mochan came to pick her up.
"Or shall we drop you off first." Ye Ranran said to Luo Qi.
